Thinks its because he looks like he is wearing guyliner?
I do tend to over emphasise the eyes
will sort out a close-up shot.

Correct. Would be good if these could be changed.
Defo be interested but knowing this was factually wrong would put me off a purchase. (if it was for sale that is!)

Yeah, I think it is the eyes. Anyway, fantastic details. And I dig the Vicious/Rotten one.

I think this is the knockdown in the last round
The Casius Clay bit on the ropes, I have lost the Mohammed ali bit with the spray paint. but its not a problem to bring it back, when I do more work on it.

It is loosly based on the cottingley fairies, which was just up the road from me.

I feel everything as been a build up to this style.

Its got a bit of everything in it.
Areas of Newspaper and bits of Digital Giclee Collage individually spray tinted to match normal newsprint. So they don't stand out too much.
Its a bit fiddly and time consuming but I think the end result looks well.
I have gone full circle, as when I was 17 and started work for my Bro.
Before the days of a Mac. I was a paste-up Artist, cutting and sticking little bits of lettering down, producing artwork for print. It was a bugger if they were a spelling mistake though.
My new style reminds me of that.
Then freehand drawing in pencil, pen and charcoal in other areas.
Then I plan to do some areas with stencil spraypaint, Acrylic paint.
and maybe some Heavy body Acrylic applied with palette knife.
The I am going do something else I havent done for a long while.
I use to have a Gold foiling business, so I plan to Gold block text & logos to certain areas of the peice.
I want to tie in everything I have done, in one style.

The beauty of these is that I can do them at home on my knee (I ;)feel like a kid again, on the dining room table), which ideal for my predicament at the moment, time wise.
