I finally got round to doing a bit more on The Hockney portrait this week.
after working on the Pollock and building up a bit of confidence, I took the plunge and started adding the highlight to the Hockney, a little bit at a time cos I don't want to over do it. Doing that alot lately, trying to stop myself going to far and overworking a peice, even sometimes leaving something, I would have normaly worked on it alot more.
Also finally took the plunge this week and started a very pretty Lady.
Wanted to do one for ages in the new style, but kept putting it off until I had leant a bit more from the style. Trying to make it as Decrepit as possible, but have a hint of beauty about it. Working more with chisels and carving on this one, and possible the idea of throwing a dash of colour in, not in paint, but in magazine, I want to keep the peices limited from coloured paint at the moment, by only using the Black and white emulsion.
Will post more updates later,
finished peices will appear in the thread on the main board.

Update on Pandaβ¦
Collaged then de-collaged the background. Rubbed charcoal in certain areas to mucky some places up, sealed it, then used emilsion to lighten some areas for hi.light, did a few fine emulsion splatters, then lightley sprayed some colour in it.
Top section of the background is almost done now.
I have now just starting adding more fibreglass,
to create an Hairy effect all over the Body.
Wish I could do the same thing on my own head
