Obviously they did ...  LUCKY LUCKY PEOPLE..

I love Banksys work and have collected from the start, and believe it or not I have a nice collection but there are certain things that I would not have bought regardless of who it was by and how cheap, and that is one, Ive also passed on a few of those canvases you mention that are now worth 200k, but then they were only a few hundred.

I don't know how much this was originally, but it was far less than 7k! 300 quid would be my guess.
This is about the third of these I remember on ebay. Think the first one I saw went for just over a grand....
