MAN CITY WIN THE PREMIER LEAGUE!, by saint on May 14, 2012 14:52:02 GMT 1, You're quite right Fin, i didnt expect any more, and actually before the games yesterday i expected us to finish 5th. You were very lucky tho, i'm sure even the most hardcore of arsenal fans would admit if Foster had been in goal you'd have finished 4th.... Anyways, football almost over for another year, aside from you lot coming above us its been a great season, bring on sat, come on Bayern.....

MAN CITY WIN THE PREMIER LEAGUE!, by chyren on May 14, 2012 15:45:22 GMT 1, Come on chelsea yawn. And massive yawn to you freerange, you finished above us due to 3 massive errors by a lasagne chef who's first and only experience of premiership football should also be his last. Hardly something you lot should feel proud about IMO,.
Sweet sweet irony Fulop is a former totten#%¥ player.. ;D

MAN CITY WIN THE PREMIER LEAGUE!, by bigtlt on May 14, 2012 16:18:41 GMT 1, With regards to the FFP rules, expect to see City players signing image rights deals with Abu Dhabi companies as top up to there wages.
As these companies are supposedly not owned by Manchester City they can't be included in the accounts looked at by the FFP.
I'm pretty sure all other teams will and probably some already do follow the same idea.

Hardly something you lot should feel proud about IMO, but hey arsenal fans have always been good at pretending its all ok and that 3rd place is what you were after...
Arsenal players also seem completely satisfied with third place, you can tell that by the way Koscienly triumphantly held three fingers aloft to celebrate his biggest achievement with the club....a third place finish. Wow, third place eh Laurent? Well done Le Arse, didn't you used to win stuff?

MAN CITY WIN THE PREMIER LEAGUE!, by kel on May 15, 2012 13:21:16 GMT 1, Well the same old junk gets flown about City have bought the league it’s unfair to everybody else G14 ring any bells
All I will say is Juan Sebastian Veron 2001 £28M Rio Ferdinand 2002 £29M now if that’s not buying leagues oh how fans have short memories.
I don’t know how United were able to pay such amounts, oh of course United made their money to buy these players.
Latest accounts £450M in debt.
And they call us bitter

You know full well that the debt is 100% down to the Glazers.
The debt comes from the leveraged buy-out. Even with the debt repayments and wages and transfers, Manchester United still work within budget. When the Glazer family eventually launch the Initial Public Offering (IPO), probably in the summer, Manchester United will be in a very healthy position.
Again I'm in no way bitter, and have congratulated all my mates that support City. City won the lottery when they were bought, and reasonable people would acknowledge this, and even admit they'd probably have been flirting with relegation without first Shinawatra's money and then Sheikh Mansour's.
City's success owes everything to Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
