from a german perspective... as much as I want a german team to win, you have to give chelsea credit for winning away from home against a team that plays on home turf, after eliminating barca in two games ....what struck me most is winning in penalties for an english team against a german one is beyond everything expected... so in the end not undeserved... cheers

IMO the Champions League should be for league winners and not for finishing fourth. It's so bloated these days and why not just have a straight knockout tournament again. But money talks so that won't happen. Unlucky for Spurs though, but they do get to play in the Inter Toto Round of 164 team Europa thing, so all isn't lost for them.

PS not a Chelsea fan but enjoyed the firt bit of the game of chess and from the first goal what a fantastic game.
