I have a Histidyl and when up in the flesh as it were they are absolutely stunning.
These prints are pricey but I do think they are worth it as they are a bit special.
You will get a good financial return as every stare at them is worth a few quid and you will stare at them a lot and smile. ENJOY !!!!!

Which one is that Volvic; I'm hoping it's Lana as I bought one of those as I wanted a classic Hirst spot print. I also think that framing this and the Riley Olympic print together in the same way would look pretty damn nice!

Liked the idea of the key and the shape/colours and a good size manifold editions have some which aren't in the OC shop too. Seems strange that Manifold are selling online and OC aren't.

So pleased I didn't go for a gold/silver/copper version that OC have had knocking around for ages.
Much nicer than Opium and will have a much better provenance coming from OC.
Low edition sizes as well.
Prefer this to a gorilla in a glittery mask ;-)

jdwheeler, I agree - I've been tempted by the gold / silver ones for nearly two years. So glad I didn't buy one now.
By the way, for those interested, these are being launched in January and won't be sent out / available to collect until end of January / early February.

If you go on the Other Criteria website and look at a signed poster called "The Dead".
It is all the diferent colour skulls in the same pattern as the spots and signed by Damien Hirst.
At £230 it is a cheap way to get the same effect (if you see what I mean).
You might hate it, but is just a thought.
I also think the Controlled Substances is cool.

Just spoke to the super helpful Cathy at OC and reserved myself Lanatoside B. About 3 left at the original starting price before it goes up. She will also send out the PDF to anyone who calls up on : T +44 (0)20 7629 5800 ( Bond Street Store ).

Surely it doesn't matter unless you plan to flip it? I have no idea what it would sell for on the secondary market in the next year but I have no doubt it will be worth a lot more than cost in 5 years time, and in the meantime you'll have an iconic piece of art on the wall until you do decide to move in on

Not planning to flip it, mate. Never bought art for investment. It's just that I didn't follow Hirst prices recently and don't want to lose half of my money in case I don't like it anymore in a few years.

Thanks Hlarmy, the thought of hanging Lano with my Bridjet Riley has just cost me 3 grand (No 20)............. ;D
