They won't talk to you if you want to get your print authenticated, they will talk to you however if you want to consign your print and they can make thousands off of you. It's a win win situation for them. Screw eyestorm, you can find spot prints at auction houses occasionally for less than what eyestorm charges, and being sold at auction is pretty solid provenance and usually they will guarantee what they sell.
Couple things, these prints were mostly issued in custom designed tubes, if you find a print with that tube that's a good sign although now rare. These also came with numbered eyestorm certificates (which varied over the years) but some or most should be embossed with the eyestorm logo.

My Opium didn't come in a tube it was nicely sandwiched between 2 sheets of perspex. It's the first I've heard they won't authenticate. They bent over backwards for my friends. So to speak.

I went for Opium and bought it from Eyestorm. ;D
Will be getting it framed by Mr Frameman in my trademark deep white frame.
Should get it in the next week or so then have it framed within 3 weeks - I will post some pics once I get it.
