I was hopeful for parts of the first half, but second half and all of extra time you were all over us.
I cant believe I saw an England that had to hope for penalties, bearing in mind our record in shoot out finishes!

Confident we beat Italy and take revenge for 2006 to lose to Spain in the final again. Come on, there are 7 to 8 Bayern players in the line up and they came second in every competition they've entered...guess it's going to be the same when they play for Germany.
One chance though...take some Bayern players out (already started in the quarter finals) and bring on the young guns. Not sure about Germany being the best team in the tournament but certainly the team with the best bench.

The Germans seem big, powerful and fast, no one can counter attack like them. No other nation can match the joint fire power of Gomez, Klosse and Podolski either. With Ozil controlling things behind them, one of the best attacking defenders in the game in Lahm and one giant of a man in goal, this is a team that the other three semi-finalists must be worried about. They'd have smashed our England team to bits, just like the World cup, I'm glad we didn't get through and are sparred the humiliation.....(again!)

They´ve done it before the Italians and that is where I would put my money, also when it comes to winning the tournament.

But you never know, so many players on the German team still underperforming in this tournament the likes of Schweinsteiger and Özil especially, so maybe they can surprise the Italians with an early goal and then its everyones game... fingers crossed
