They have released this amazing image as Prints and Originals. Why should they release it at $400 for people to immidiately flip for $2000?
By pricing it this way they will be bought by those who love it (if they can get one!) and I believe this will be the desirable print from the last 2 years and be coveted as much as the Butterfly Girl print.

I'm not having a go at you, but I find it funny when people use words like 'older'.
back in the day is was $200 for an edition of 12, and that was when you almost got $2 to the £1. happy dayz....

Stops the flippers, most people will be just annoyed they can't make the usual money on a print from sitting on their super fast broadband while at work.

No one is going to flip them so they will go to genuine fans. Still it akes it hard for a "normal" fan to afford their work. Maybe a larmger edition next time?

I bet they look as lovely as nearly all Failes do. They released the image that most people wanted, and although its expensive I don't think its out of line with their pricing. Much much prefer this style to any of the blocky paper monster releases. Just same as a lot of people on here the subject matter doesn't do it for me. Bit too much of a teenage masturbation fantasy for my walls I'm afraid!!

I think the detail and hand finishing on these should make them pretty special...
AND compared to the last Laz releases they did, and even the prices of the rather average Paper Monster releases, I think these are quite a bargain (relatively speaking!!)
