Seems like the price is now a 'bargain' ยฃ1275, I think that was about the price of the 'Lovers' canvass at the Graffik show. The missus wouldn't even entertain me selling our 'Lovers' even at these bonkers prices.
Have to agree, I think if I sold our lovers print my wife would cut my knackers off regardless of the price they appear to be going for!

Hahaha I saw some of those this morning and thought, they are some of the worst looking fakes ive seen. Never realised they had sold though!! I cant believe a buyer could be so naive |

I was jealous when seeing this on the latest art buy thread but now knowing what you paid for it all I can say is congrats! It is an amazing piece and acquiring it for a reasonable amount makes it probably the buy of the year...yesterday a damaged 'Lovers' print sold for ยฃ900 after being offered here on the forum for around ยฃ200 a month ago (hope I remember this correctly)...utter madness...still, absolutely into Stiks work myself (...but not going to buy anything with the current prices, not that I could ;D).
