Goldie ๐ฌ๐ง Clifford Joseph Price MBE โข Artist & DJ, by marshman on Jun 30, 2007 22:27:00 GMT 1, Had the fantastic opportunity today of seeing some of the canvases that Goldie has created which will form his exhibition at TLSG from September 6th.
I had seen some jpegs which were good, but f**k they honestly look amazing in the flesh.  Quality constructed hand made canvases with screens pulled by the man himself on top of which he has then manually applied the finishing details. I would guess they are about 4' x3' in size.
I'll be honest I was blown away by a couple of them, but cannot share any pictures as was not able to take them.
Definetely one to check out, as I understand it a smaller canvas and low edition prints will also be available.

Ok, the starting point is a photo, but its just the extra detail that someone so passionate about the art has added that makes it IMHO so great. I might have to flip some of my stuff to raise some funds.

I suggest some M8 stud anchor bolts. You will need a 16mm pilot hole.

No i have that one, i think this one was strictly about Goldie showing him re-tracing his childhood steps. Would have been shown way after the release of Saturn Returnz

I'm pretty sure the one i watched was strictly about Goldie,IIRC showed him going around Wolverhampton, his old school, visiting his Mother etc.
Actually i'm sure it was different as i remember catching some of the Tricky program, how could anyone forget watching that with his proper dodgy uncle with the freaky eye.
The Goldie one may have been part of the channel 4 "Black Christmas" which was on erm around Christmas time..
Arghh ive got get to the bottom of this now

I actually went to the same school as him & he was the one person that fuelled my love for Graff & Street art & that pic really doesn't do him any justice at all Mike
