ON SOAPBOX 
regards prices of his work etc, this ain't no simple black/white stencil on a canvas (aka Blek....whose work I love) the new stuff has so much work that goes into them. I mean you start with a photoshoot and props then he doesn't just throw paint on a canvas, they are burnt, sanded down, repainted, little bit here, little bit there. The man is a pain in the arse perfectionist.
AND before anyone starts I know there are other artists who put this amount of work into their pieces (Matt Small originals) but none of them are Goldie with the resultant kudos that this brings (whether you like it or not).
I mean would you pay ยฃ80k or whatever the going rate is for a Kate Moss PRINT that was really just a reworked Andy Warhol if it had been done by Eelus (no offence E!!!). I bet Kate wasn't even inbolved in the production of that piece, but correct me if I am wrong as occassionally I can be  .

Yes i do, but unlike you i do not consider them to be as you say "Dogs Droppings", i buy what i like if i can afford to, i trust my own opinion to which i am entitled to have, just as you are on the works that you buy. The Goldie pieces aren't really for me, but I don't remember hearing so much negativity around the images when Goldie released them as prints with another Gallery (was it LSG?) last year. I realise some of you have problems with S.editions and that's your choice, but personally Ive found them to be a nice lot with the dealings I've had. Sorry.
No beef with s.editions, just think that Goldie is.....not my cup of tea...He jumped on the hip hop scene* now hes jumped back to the street scene, wonder what he'll hop onto next?..the man would paint & sell deck chair beach scenes if the money was good enough...(my tuppence)

He was a pioneer of the drum & bass scene, and was doing graff back in the 80's - He has not just 'jumped on' these scenes.
