I got the Peacekeeper print, and as mentioned before someone very kindly got a POW 'God...' for me at cost - see Micallef Some Good News for a Change Part One Thread - so I'm a Happy Bunny...

In the spirit of paying it forward I'm posting this new thread on behalf of a very good friend who missed out on the POW God release as he was on a plane at the time...he's a very nice chap indeed (more 'marriage material' in fact, ladies!) and would be a useful ally to just about anyone on this forum as if there's anyone who knows more about Banksy prints than him i've yet to meet them...i have no hesitation in recommending him both as a buyer and a seller, especially as like myself he doesn't sell through the bay but prefers to deal in person...

So if anyone's got a GOD they're willing to sell at a fair price with a view to establishing a relationship with someone worth knowing, I'm certain you'll never regret getting in touch with this guy...all sounds a bit mysterious I know but he has a genuine reason for not being able to post this thread himself (and it's nothing to do with flipping or being on any POW or LAZ blacklists)...

Again thanks to all the replies yesterday and the best of luck to all the genuine collectors on this Forum who can see past the short term dollars and cents to the long term benefits of working as a community...this Forum is IMO more powerful than we sometimes realise...the reaction to Micallef Flippers being a good case in point, which very quickly put a lid on the silly prices (£3500!!!) and should result in a reasonable secondary market price - I know that hurts some people on here who bought a set hoping to sell 1 or 2 to cover the cost of the rest, but there's still an OK mark-up for your troubles and a Micallef release that doesn't end up at 10x Original Cost is for the greater good of most of the collectors on this Forum - Plus it helps stabilise a market that was in serious danger of Blowing up in our faces which would devalue everyone's collection - Also if the Flippers DON"T make a killing on this release they are far less likely to be buying up 10 sets of prints when the next Micallef release comes round....
