Only seems to be 2 sellers selling most of these sets. Also, seems odd selling $10 posters to VIP's. I guess if it's a dodgy knock off I should be able to get my money back through paypal.
I was at the LA show on the preview night and again for several hours on Wednesday, and spoke with Holly and Dora about the prints and book. Nobody mentioned a poster, and they were not at the table where the prints and book were sold on Wednesday. And I never saw anyone carrying one on either day, so if they existed, maybe they were sold on Thursday or later. I would email POW or Laz to confirm.

Look at the picture, the posters are shown in the background.
My friend got me one of each from the show, maybe they were given to people who asked for them rather than being on a sales counter, I guess the fact he bought a piece of the show may have also had something to do with it.

Its quite clever making the pics high res. If someone ever makes any money out of copying them then DACS go in and charge for the privilege. Its like an informal franchise.

...also anyone have any good ideas how we can muster up some more publicity for this ?
I know a letter was posted by hand to Laz gallery during the Micallef Art Sale stunt last week on Greek Street by artkieda (see www.artkieda.com for press release, pics should be up soon) as even in Moscow I keep in touch with those mad Hackney sorts that go round kidnapping statues and disinstalling installations...£300 (original selling price) for a Framed Judgement Day and apparently the girl that bought it has no idea what it is though no doubt she's found out by now...understand there was a "break your legs" type resale clause though this may just be my artkieda contact spicing it up after the fact...
...and finally, I wouldn't worry about your sale OrangeMatt, this thread probably hasn't hurt it a bit and even if we could persuade Micallef to reinstate I'm guessing it's gonna take a while (and probably not be £33 quid either !)

If anyone would like me to pick one up for them I will do so gladly, you will have to paypal me (once I get them in hand) and reimburse me additionally for shipping/packing(tube) in addition to the actual poster costs.
This is assuming there are any left, I emailed Jennifer and she thought they would be, there are two different ones(20cl and Peacekeeper) so let me know your wishlist and NO I WILL NOT buy multiples so you can throw these on ebay at markup.
This is for you to put on your wall and make you feel better that you couldn't get an original, or give to your art loving friend or relative to start their addiction.

I got and extra set of the posters, it was $20 for both posters. They said they weren't going to sell them on the website, but I can't believe that, especially if they have extras. If anyone in the UK wants my extra set PM your address and I'll ship it out next time I get to the post office. When you get it just make a similar donation to a non-religious charity and we'll call it even.
