$1,200 is still a lot of cash for the size, even for an original. But then again, I see people willingly spending that amount on some terrible stuff here.

VAT should only be 5% as these are orginal pieces of art. You may have to query that with HMRC though and apply for a refund as no doubt they will slap 20% VAT on it.
