Last ones at Lazarides (not reall "source" then) were £500 framed if I remember well

I am guessing these will be more expensive this time round.

I assumed it meant covers of big books.

I'm going to be so disappointed when I don't get a book cover on Wednesday.

Their site will slow to a snails pace , I will sweat for a while bashing the keyboard, then everything will be sold out....

We really enjoy creating the Book Cover series. This round we got pretty detailed. These works are all a combination of found book covers, various cut paper and silkscreen ink. Our goal is to keep them each as unique and original as possible. We are trying not to repeat any book cover images, if they are, it's a different cropping or version of the image and unique from it's sister piece. That being said, these are all Originals and quite lovely, in our biased and humble opinion.

Also these each come framed. Float mounted using archival material on a solid white wood frame. Frame face is 1/2 inch and the depth is 1 1/2 in. You simply provide the nail and you're good to go. The sizes of each piece are varied.

After the last release we received some friendly emails on the timer system. Upon review, we found this was a problem for some and wasn't that useful as a whole. For this release and hopefully all going forward, it's simply first come, first serve. There are no more carts, in the sense that you can hold something in it and hopefully no need for refreshing many times. This simply means that if a piece is available and you are the first to fully check out that piece will go to you. If someone else checks out before you, you will simply get an apologetic page saying the piece has already been sold and the payment won't process. In the case of an edition, the system will honor the first people to check out until the edition size is met. Again if it has sold out while you're in the act of checking out, your payment won't process and you will just get a page saying the piece is no longer available. We sincerely hope this makes it easier. We are grateful for those that support the work we do and really try to make the site a smooth experience.

The other half always gives me a hard time saying these emails are too long. So hopefully this works.

Is it me or does this system sound even more frustrating than people carting items and waiting for them to pop up again? Just means that anyone with a slow internet speed doesn't stand a chance of checking out quickly and probably by the time all your details have been entered to find out it's already sold most of the others will be gone. Hopefully I'm wrong, but we'll see.
