Keith Allen & Banksy on TV today , by Greg on Jul 25, 2012 12:57:18 GMT 1, Just happened to be flicking through the channels whilst eating my breakfast this morning when I stumbled across Keith Allen on 'the wright stuff' and he was talking about his or a new album coming out with an original banksy cover for the album sleeve... But i missed the name of the band
Also he mentioned that he used to be a spotter for him when he was smuggling his stuff into museums and gallerys, Keith was used a a distraction/spotter.
The fact that Keith Allen can be a p*ick and that he must have close ties with Banksy makes me go off him that little bit more!
But his daughter is FIT!

It’s being put together by the same FAT LES mob behind his 1998 World Cup hit Vindaloo.
But the group, which includes Keith’s pal MATT EATON and HAPPY MONDAYS’ ROWETTA, have been renamed FIT LES for the project.

“They’re all Germans and French.
"The IOC, they hate us. Like Fifa hate us.
“If ever you wanted to dump a shedload of s*** on a country, give ’em the Olympics in the worst austerity the world has known.”

Damien Hirst directed the Country House video, which stared Keith Allen in 1995.... So I'd say Hirst, Allen, Damon and Banksy were all known to one another in the late nineties and 2000.
IMO 2002/03 is the tipping point... when Banksy really establishes himself.

Does anyone else have this CD?
It was available from some shops in Stroud (where Keith Allen lives) around the time of the article and I bought one.
Apologies for being cynical but have any ever been sold and is it worth much?
It must be quite rare (a few hundred copies were pressed I think) and I have never seen the Banksy art anywhere else.
Keith Allen says the art is by Banksy if asked and it's in print in The Times too (See here)
Any help would be great.
