Thank you for making the effort and coming to my 1st solo show.
The private view was epic. Somewhere between Spinal Tap and Eyes Wide Shut.
Highlights included: setting off the fire alarm with the smoke machine, seeing 300 Londoners drunk on Sheffield beer and Alice Dellal clearing away the empty bottles at the end. I think the 3 riot vans of coppers thought they’d found the G20 after party until they saw the Frank Sidebottom-style animal-headed warriors wondering about. They was well perplexed.
My sketch book got passed around and it’s not often the likes of Elk, SheOne, GasFace, Ziml, ATG, Stormie, Rough, Sick Boy, Cept, Busk, Pure Evil, Pete Fowler, Will Barras, Stef Plaetz, Sweet Toof, Chu, Midfield General, D*Face, Word To Mother and London Police get up in the same pages - but at the end of the night, someone got themselves a 5 finger discount and the book is gone!!!
I suppose this is how Bob Monkhouse felt when he left his joke book in the taxi. Please keep your ear to the ground and put the word out. I would like it back please.
I feel I’m owed some good karma seeing as I found a video camera on the floor of the Dragon Bar and handed it in the night before.

Alice is a friend of mine, and we REALLY needed some help clearing up - the council nearly shut us down at one point.

Thanks to Mario for coming to my rescue and nipping to the shop for some more bin bags!!

It was a great night, the whole of the street was full of people - it was insane, the girls looked great and it was nice to see so many old faces as well as some new ones!

One bad thing happened though - Kid Acne had a book which he asked a whole host of writers to write in as a souvenir for his hard work. This was then stolen from the Dragon bar. We don't get much back for doing these kind of shows but we do put a lot of effort into making sure people enjoy the work and themselves for free, so for someone to steal this book is a real kick in the balls for Ed. If anyone has it, it would be great if you can return it to either the Dragon Bar or Stella Dore (both on Rivington Street) - no questions asked!

if the photos are ever used for anything more than just showing off full credit will be paid where credit is due and then some...

Did no one see the bit in the london paper about Alice Dallel dating a director of Stella Door in the London Lite? In fact the Stella peeps have done very well of late in getting press mentions, Kid Acne show got a plug in the metro. Well done to Stella Dore on the PR front, an art form in itself. Sorry to hear about the thievery.

Kid Acne... POW is all over the place lately nothing from Kid Acne on POW in like 3 years then poof he's back.

It's funny, just had another look, refreshed and the number available got bigger not smaller ;D
