Looking for classic signed Banksy, by malice on Aug 6, 2012 18:40:12 GMT 1, After years of dreaming about having some decent art, I've inherited some money and am looking to make my first steps into starting a little collection. A friend said here would be a good place to start.
First up, I'm looking for a classic signed Banksy print. Laugh Now, Queen Vic era.....
London based but will travel within reason. Serious buyer with cash ready. Please message me if you have something.
Also looking for some Eine originals. I'll start another thread for that one!

Any expert advice on how much I should expect to pay for a signed Laugh Now, Bomb Bugger or Happy Choppers or Queen Vic also welcome? I have an rough idea. Is it worth subscribing to Artprice? Artnet? Any advice welcome.

In all seriousness I don't think there's an expected price to pay as such on any of these pieces.
They're all getting scarce and are less available than they used to be so if anyone has one for sale then the price will be pretty much a compromise between what they are asking and what you are prepared to pay.
Gallery, auction, forum and ebay prices have been all over the place in the last year or two so the usual rule of thumb is bound to apply.
The sellers will quote the highest auction price including fees and the buyers will quote the lowest ebay auction price which finished in the middle of the night while we were all asleep.
Good luck with your searches.
