What to do when a seller goes cold?, by irisbrooks on Aug 18, 2012 3:34:52 GMT 1, I have bought a number of pieces off of the forum with great success, and finally have hit a road block. I paid a member for a piece over three months ago and got the line "I am having personal issues, will ship the piece as soon as possible". It is someone who has been on the forum for over two years. I have sent numerous PM's and an email and heard nothing in a month. What to do???

What to do when a seller goes cold?, by irisbrooks on Aug 18, 2012 3:41:02 GMT 1, Yeah just noticed that "brokencircle" is listed under the not so good dealings with posts. Lame. I suggest that no one purchase from him since he obviously do not have the art/or intend to send the art.

What to do when a seller goes cold?, by letiss on Aug 18, 2012 9:42:24 GMT 1, I did a deal with the member mentioned and met him in person around nine months ago. It was a very smooth deal. Shame that your deal hasn't had the same outcome as yet.

What to do when a seller goes cold?, by nandaman on Aug 19, 2012 14:21:58 GMT 1, If the deal was through the mail, as most are, you may have legal recourse to pursue your item or money through the USPS (if this deal is US-based). This is akin to mail fraud, which is a felony. Look into it, and see if it is worthwhile to follow up on, discuss with a lawyer, etc. Hope that helps - hope you get your money or art back....karma is a b*tch!

What to do when a seller goes cold?, by maadbeats on Aug 19, 2012 14:30:41 GMT 1, always use paypal and when you get near 30 days with no product. report them to paypal to get your money back. Then name and shame here on the boards.
Which brings me to my second point. Dont deal with this f'er annar50. Bought a Handiedan print off of him. It showed in up not mint mint condition like he explained. So he accepted to have it returned. I do so immediately it sits in his post office for 3 weeks. He doesnt claim it so now its being returned back to me.
