Someday All The Adults Will Die, by Deleted on Aug 18, 2012 23:32:20 GMT 1, Sounds a laugh. I remember going to the Urbis exhibition Punk, Sex Seditionaries and the Sex Pistols years back, was nice to see old friends there.

Someday All The Adults Will Die, by Deleted on Sept 4, 2012 19:48:45 GMT 1, Rough Trade East In-store - 'PUNK: AN AESTHETIC' BOOK LAUNCH - Thursday 20th September, 7pm 20/09/2012 NO WRISTBAND NEEDED, JUST COME DOWN ON THE NIGHT
Pre-Order 'Punk: An Aesthetic' here
To celebrate the release of this amazing book Rough Trade are happy to announce this panel discussion & book signing with Jon Savage & Johan Kugelberg.
From posters created on the fly for punk bands and underground filmmakers, to fanzines and and other independent publications, the art of the punk movement reflected the consciousness and the anti-aesthetic of new counterculture and revolutionized design in ways whose influence is still felt today. Drawing on private and public archives of rare material from around the world, Punk An Aesthetic is an illustrated book published by Rizzoli, presenting an unrivaled collection of punk art and ephemera that incorporates every aspect of the movement, from the earliest occurrences of punk symbolism in posters and flyers for underground bands to the explosion of fanzines and Xerox culture. It includes rare, previously unpublished photographs of the Sex Pistols, the Clash, the Ramones, and others, alongside the artwork of Crass, Jamie Reid, John Holmstrom, and the contemporary street artist Banksy.
