He was offered double his money in a short period of time. He desperately wanted to take it, but held out because he believed in the artist. That piece is now worth hundreds of thousands.
Moral of the story: sit tight Harvey. Trust your instincts. Bomber Girl is one of the best images Micallef has ever done. When you look back in the years to come, I think you'll be happy you did.
