I just wanted to say I didn't mean to cause offence or the drama. Don't mean to be to be a buzzkill at all, I said was excited by the work originally.
But why lurk here on this site, then react through a different site digging out a collector instead of just contributing openly here on this one?? Not cool.
Then to try and offer a positive on this. Even semi-serious collectors monitor loads of different channels and are direct in liaising with galleries, wherever they are located. You really could benefit by improving your consistency across all these channels and galleries now, before your potential collector base grows further.

I just can't stop, this forum is turning me into an art junkie.
Good luck to whoever gets tonight's print, looks amazing, I'm jealous already.
Nice to see Carl will be able to get the money himself tonight for his own work rather than have to give pieces away to charity to placate a couple of individuals with peculilar views on supply and demand and the need to earn money to live.
Anyhow, good luck at 6pm. Wonder what day 12 is going to be?

They start off nice, then someone complains about price, like "It sold on ebay for this amount last month" or "Wasn't it only this much a few months ago, and now he's charging this much now! I can't believe he would do that" etc...
This forum has changed a lot in the past year and not for the better, shame...Good luck who ever tries to get the piece today, it's a good one. And nicely priced, I've seen them go for more on ebay.

Most do buy for a bit of an investment, its like any other product, it costs alot of money and so it is valid to talk about it and especially in a forum like this. In fact its very useful to have different views on price here when so many on here are completely biased.
We're not all here to hype artists in their own collection, gallery or personal friends/ family.. or to voice moot points, which happens more than anything.
