If you had no money limit..., by jonti on Sept 23, 2012 23:10:09 GMT 1, Hmmm...good one
I would have Da Vinci - The Vitruvian Man above the fireplace
Olafur Eliasson - The Weather Project (including the turbine hall) in my back yard
And Hirst/Banksy's Keep It Spotless in my kids bedroom

Seeing this and the sheer size of it at the bristol show makes this a good choice, need a huge room to carry it off,
Wonder where in the world its hanging tonight ? and how much its worth ?

If you had no money limit..., by kjzimm on Sept 24, 2012 4:51:23 GMT 1, Three Monet Waterloo Bridges. I saw seven in a single room years ago. Each was amazing in its own right. But, when I turned around and surveyed the lot just before leaving the room I was stunned at the simple beauty, and being able to campare each to their siblings opened a door of insight otherwise unavailable.

If you had no money limit..., by anbesivam1 on Sept 28, 2012 12:27:29 GMT 1, DaVinci - Any oil...but all are priceless and not for sale...hence the list of the World's most expensive paintings at auction has many pieces from the 20th century.
As this is a fantasy thread...then I would go for the lost original by Leonardo DaVinci - the Battle of Anghiari:
Rapahael - As the fantasy is "art pieces"...if this was possible:
School of Athens
Michelangelo - any oil...well in fantasy land...maybe even this
Back up pieces in case the others didn't materialise! Klimt -
Rothko -
Cannaletto-

If you had no money limit..., by Cedric Mnich on Sept 28, 2012 14:20:09 GMT 1, Anghiari's battle is magnificent. Regarding MichelAngelo, it's not oil I think as it is some fresca on Sixtine Chapel ceiling... If I'm not mistaken, the only identified oil by Michel Angelo is the Tondo Doni painting. I saw it in flesh this summer in Gallerie di Uffizi in Firenze, and it is an absolute pure marvel...
