I promised to send you a picture, Lroy. Here it is. The book and cd arrived today :-)
Good for you so ( because of me ahah - you did not know it ? ). What is your secret ? You ordered directly from the editor ? You are searching as Astarti by ISBN ? Never heard about this one ( first edition ? ) with a cd … i bought the cd 6 £ on Discogs ..
No, not using any ISBN. I happen to know a guy who knows a guy :-)
I think that my cd is different than the one that was on Discogs. This one is from the exhibition in Moderna Museet in Stockholm in 2010. It has Moderna Museet written on it. Yours too?

Why “ ouf ? “ 😅 You bought one ? And happy for a low edition ?
Oh well, that emoji is just a response to the funny post from Londown 01. And no, I didn’t buy one and I won’t buy one. And to be totally honest, I don’t care about the edition being high or low👏🏻

Sure. Nevertheless, I found one for 35 euros yesterday.
In fact, you found one after my yesterday post. It really seems strange and weird, what is this magical website ?! Sold out after one attempt ? A cd that can have some value …. Can t believe it …
They had only one for sale, that’s why it is sold out now.

Those are two great books ( and looks like you got a good deal on them , Lroy ) I have seen the Ruscha exhibition back in 2010 which was fantastic. Surprised to see how expensive the catalogue has become.
If you are in London tomorrow:
The massive Georg Baselitz Exhibition is opening at White Cube Bermondsey. German Bratwurst and Beer will be served from 6pm. No RSVP needed. Unfortunately I wont be in town….

He's the founder of the Berlin design studio Hort, so wouldnt be surprised if he was inspired by Experimental Jetset in some guise. Both studios are the bomb to a graphic design/type nerd like myself 🤓

If you ask me, save your money. It's really just an expensive poster. Spam is an iconic brand, but it's not an iconic Ruscha. These are the iconic ones.
Where to get them now ? So much expensive I guess ! Beautiful
If you are interested in ‘Pay nothing’ you have to steal it. It’s in Tate as far as I know and I don’t think it’s for sale :-)

New Invader show in Paris, by kjg on Mar 25, 2024 17:25:50 GMT 1, And Bono, if you are reading this: I could of course also have mentioned a different band, such as Keane, Kings of Leon or Snow Patrol. My sincere apologies!

Are those people also trying to get into a U2 concert on the second night with their ticket for the first night? Pretty strange behavior.
Even though you seem to be trolling a bit lately, to be clear people were being let back into the giftshop part of the expo for a while, to buy and trade stickers and what not.
So it would have been like going back to the U2 concert the second night in the hopes to buy that merchandise from the merch stand, that they didn't have on sale when they visited the first night.
But like someone said, who tf wants to go see that band anyways?
OK, fair point. I didn't know that they were let back into the shop for a while.

Ok people! I’ve found a proxy for Paris! All I need now is some tickets for the show these next few days? Anyone selling / transferring them? Were they free?
Tickets were €10, but where people were sometimes trading or offering spare tickets for sale on Discord, it now seems to be only people looking for them. All the people in Paris that had already gone to the expo are now looking to get back in to get these tiles. And you're not getting in with old tickets anymore.

I understand that this is a thread for Invader, but hearing that collecting tiles is for old people honestly seems like one of the most absurd things I've heard on this forum in recent years. Lol

New Invader show in Paris, by kjg on Mar 23, 2024 22:02:14 GMT 1, I don’t know. Maybe you’re right. But I think that collecting/displaying tiles is for old people. That’s my personal opinion of course. I am planning to go to Paris in a few weeks and if I am able to visit the show I will buy a set of those tiles and gift them to my mother. She likes hanging/displaying arty tiles in her bathroom.

New Invader show in Paris, by kjg on Mar 23, 2024 17:17:26 GMT 1, I thought that artist’s plates were the bottom of all expected bottoms, but I never would have thought that it could even get worse. Tiles. My grandmother collected tiles. OMG.
