Help Needed - Problems Shipping to Spain Advice, by Greekboy on Jan 14, 2011 15:43:00 GMT 1, Huge thanks to brushstrokes75 for calling Spain for me. It seems the buyer needs to pay the import fees before the package is released. Thanks to everyone for their help, especially Zim who gets my vote for member of the year!
I really appreciate the forum for all of their help.

Help Needed - Problems Shipping to Spain Advice, by Greekboy on Jan 14, 2011 13:59:30 GMT 1, Looking for advice as I've run into a situation which I have never encountered before. All my years of selling on Ebay and more recently selling/trading on the forums I have never run into a situation like this before.
I sold my David Choe City Girl and Driving Home Alone prints to a fellow forum member in Spain. I shipped the prints the day after receiving payment with USPS International Express Mail with a guaranteed delivery date of December 29th, 2010.
The package has been stuck in Spanish Customs since December 29th. Is this normal for packages to be stuck in Customs for so long? I contacted the USPS about the matter and finally was given a phone number to call for Spanish Customs. Since I do not know any Spanish, I sent this phone number to the buyer in Spain, but he doesn't speak Spanish.
Not sure what to do? The buyer is getting frustrated which is understandable and in no way would I keep the buyer's money if the package does not arrive. It was as is with all of my packages insured.
Any help by any forum members would be greatly appreciated.
If someone could call if all the information (tracking/ customs #'s) I would greatly appreciate it.

I live in Canada (Windsor,ON) but work in the US (Westland, MI) and can ship from either contry you prefer. Many deals through the Banksy/Faile/ Expressobeans & Giant forums and am happy to get references if necessary. You can also check my perfect feedback on ebay under the name greekboy1975.
I can ship any way you would like, but I normally ship by US Postal service Priority (Global Priority for those abroad) with Insurance (up to $650). Some pieces may have to ship by UPS/Fed Ex due to size and value for insurance purposes. I insure for the full amount but I can mark items as a gift. I have also run into an issue with a few Ebayers concerning customs fees and VAT. Please note that, I am not responsible for these fees in any way.

Also have an original Herakut from the Dirty Laundry show also featured in the Herakut book. Serious inquiries, please reply with a pic of what you have and I will gladly forward the details of my Herakut. Prefer a US/Canada based transaction due to size (approx 47" x 35" plus custom wooden frame) but will consider all offers.
I also have various Failes including 10 Ways, Military Death II, Mao I (signed) and Bret the Hitman that I may be willing to part with, but no real rush as they are up on my walls. I grossly overpaid for the Failes and would only want to part with them as part of a trade.

Detroit Powerhouse Productions, by Greekboy on Dec 4, 2010 1:43:59 GMT 1, Not really new information, but I just uploaded some pics I took in October when artists like Swoon, Retna and Richard Colman took over a few houses here in metro Detroit. The installations were part of Detroit Powerhouse Productions auction that took place last year with Juxtapoz.

![](http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee181/greekboy1975/BloodFuzz.jpg)
Lastly, for the right deal I have my framed Judith Supine Eyes Without a Face on offer. Looking for US based trades for a smaller Supine piece. Of course I will add cash on top.
![](http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee181/greekboy1975/EyesWithoutaFace006.jpg)
I am from Canada but work in the US and can ship from either if you prefer. Many deals through the Banksy & Giant forums before and could get references if necessary. You can also check my perfect feedback on ebay under the name greekboy1975.
I can ship any way you would like, but I normally ship all prints by US Postal service Priority or UPS 2 Day (Global Priority for those abroad) with Insurance. I insure for the full amount but I can mark items as a gift. I have also run into an issue with a few Ebayers concerning customs fees and VAT. Please note that, I am not responsible for these fees in any way.

Banksy in Detroit, by Greekboy on May 12, 2010 12:36:24 GMT 1, That's great. I tried contacting the Detroit Institute of Arts but no one returned my call. I'm just happy it won't be sold on ebay as many pieces before it. Please give me the details when you have them. I would love to see it again.

Banksy in Detroit, by Greekboy on May 11, 2010 22:38:14 GMT 1, The rat isn't going anywhere. It's on the side of a factory on a major street with tons of traffic, even at such an early hour. Hopefully this weekend, I can find the large piece at the abandoned factory.

Banksy in Detroit, by Greekboy on May 11, 2010 21:36:54 GMT 1, Could not believe that Banksy hit up Detroit. Went out first thing at 6:00 in the morning before work to see if I could find them. Lucky that I did, since you can see that the process of buffing the Diamond Girl piece is already underway. I doubt it's still up there now. A shame that it couldn't last longer. I guess it will be coming to an ebay auction in the near future.

USA - Banksy Film "Exit Through The Gift Shop" , by Greekboy on May 8, 2010 14:53:36 GMT 1, Saw this last night in Detroit. The crowd was a mixed bag but the film seems to have been well received. Personally, I loved it from beginning to end and can't wait till this sees a Blu Ray release here in the states.
Bonus: The staff handed posters of the film.
