Martin Creed at the Southbank
Huge variety of work extending across different media, with a clear theme. Not an X in sight that I can remember and the comparison has never occurred to me before. Not that I would see a problem if there were some similarities, deliberate or by coincidence. But for anyone who is not familiar with Creed, he's a very interesting character.

But on eBay sales, I've seen it say best offer accepted, with a green line through the initial asking price. Pretty sure that wasn't the case with the £1,000 Cooper, no?

There's a site called watchcount.com If you enter the eBay item number it will often say what it sold for in a best offer case. The previous sale was £500.... seller ekapart..... |

It uses the icon and color facebook, and updates in red (as a "delete") its representative symbol of the person: for example, the BMW of Lady Di. But okay, I agree, this is just anecdotal. I found it funny, as a game for children. Sometimes it's good, it's better than these large frescoes pompous of artists copycats who want to put eyeful. I won't say names.

I think that guardians are trying to do their best here to keep it positive, and hopefully most members realise that. None of us is perfect and everyone makes mistakes sometimes - so please PM with any constructive comments!
And with that I am going to try to lock this thread......

I would say yes - that there is considerable loss of value through cutting the margins on a print.
However - that is only an issue if the print has significant value, and the overwhelming majority of the prints we admire here so avidly (and hopefully like to see on our walls) won't have significant value in 20 or 30 years time......
