'Banksy' piece at The Greatest Auction , by Silentbill on Jun 13, 2023 7:46:23 GMT 1, "until someone proves it is not Banksy it remains Banksy..." It would be good for Banksy to post on his website that he didn't produce it. I can't imagine he likes the way Barton does his business. Given know what is known from The Guardian article and the way barton has doubled down I'm really hoping Banksy puts out a simple response.
The rats out the bag.

'Banksy' piece at The Greatest Auction , by Silentbill on May 19, 2023 12:25:54 GMT 1, I loved at the end of that clip, the lad saying ...its not a Banksy..its one of the local tossers hahahaha. And thanks mate, the money thing isnt happening, no one is replying to any emails. I wouldn't take it personally, there is only one person that came out of this looking like the local tosser and it certainly wasn't you. I think the entire programme was staged in a feeble attempt to legitimise Bartons unauthenticated collection of "scabby old bits of wall" (gogglebox quote) ultimately it will be free publicity for Pest Control since if it doesn't have Pest Control COA it has no value in the Banksy market and C4 are now obliged to issue a statement to that effect before the next episode. The Executive Producer is Charlie Bunce and the Commissioning Editor for Channel 4 is Anna Miralis. I would direct your concerns to them personally. I worked in TV for years and ultimatly they are responsible for broadcasting this rubbish. Thank you for that info. Im being ignored by Channel 4 and curve media. I will try find Anna Miralis's email

'Banksy' piece at The Greatest Auction , by Silentbill on May 18, 2023 7:29:43 GMT 1, The Greatest Auction...erm really? Fake art, fake experts, fake bids, fake seller/buyer? Didn't even convince the Goggleboxers and I doubt they know that much about Banksy, although evidently more than the "experts" on this ridiculous auction. Even my mum knew that weren't a Banksy! 9.42 - 15.20 Good luck exposing this Silent Bill ...and getting your money. I loved at the end of that clip, the lad saying ...its not a Banksy..its one of the local tossers hahahaha.

'Banksy' piece at The Greatest Auction , by Silentbill on May 17, 2023 15:02:21 GMT 1, SIlentbill, I would approach the Intellectual Property Office and ask the question that as you can demonstrate you created the work, would its sale at auction on TV be sufficient to kick in artist resale rights given it was originally a painting on a wall, they should be able to answer that and point out who should be paying that royalty. If they say yes, the fee could be sizeable so would really help a charity out, or expose that the whole thing was a staged sham and no sale took place. I suspect however levering it out of someone would prove difficult/ costly, so would most likely require a newspaper or kindly mysterious benefactor with time on their hands, we must have some lawyers/ solicitors/ barristers on here if you have a case. Thank you for this information, greatly appreciated. Perhaps someone on the forum could assist. I think the papers may assist as it is newsworthy and there is more of a story behind all of this.

There is a really funny story that they cut one out of a wall that was to be knocked down and unbeknownst to them there was an actual Banksy above it that they didnt take Me and a few lads that were up from Bristol that weekend watched the wall being knocked down.

'Banksy' piece at The Greatest Auction , by Silentbill on May 17, 2023 7:30:23 GMT 1, Of course it is. It has been made in 2013, and is appearing in the SBโ s book. SB from Liverpool made this rat ( clever quote ) as a joke, not a naughty one, I mean a โ clin dโลil โ๐ ๐ to Banksy. Nothing serious, SB is a very talented, kind and joking artist. he created the SSOSVA with more than 4000 artists years ago, from the smallest to the greatest. Street-art world ! Panini section ! One of my first friend in the good old times ! Hello King Royston. Ahh the good old times eh. What was once may be again. Hope all is well my friend.

'Banksy' piece at The Greatest Auction , by Silentbill on May 17, 2023 7:27:19 GMT 1, The list of backfiring is growing. The artwork was published in a book, credited to Silent Bill, and anyone who is an expert on street art removal, Liverpool street art, or the history of Banksy, will have looked at this book. So the program researchers obviously didn't do their job, unless the point of the program is to highlight how fraud occurs within the art world. Silent Bills price/valuation has leapt up, and if I'm correct, he's owed some money. I was hoping the seller would be shamed into donating the money to charity, thats not happening. As for me being owed some money from its sale, how would I go about getting this, wont be much but I will be giving that to charity.
At the very least we can all laugh at how ridiculous the so called experts have been made to look....Schadenfreude

SSOSVA Membercard AKA Lock Picking Kit, by Silentbill on Apr 21, 2019 10:45:51 GMT 1, I'd check the laws wherever you live before ordering this as possession of lock picking tools is often illegal without a license. I believe in the UK, it's only legal to possess them in your own home... Most people frame them...I hope.

Wheat paste advice , by Silentbill on Apr 18, 2019 18:29:24 GMT 1, Mate, tried a load of methods. I just stick with standard wall paper paste (Even poundland stuff) thinned down and mixed with PVA glue (Thats the magic ingredient), Billboard posters are just using water'd down PVA glue. Use the thinnest paper ya can and it will stick likes**t to the wall. Had a piece in Manchester up for 3 years thats part of the wall. If ya wanna be nuts add a bit of sugar aswell for extra stickyness. Score the pieces round the edges so any rippers wont take it off when pulling. Use one of them sewing wheels (Lil roller spiky Wheel), it adds like a perforation to it. Watch the start of this (Rewind it to start) In my very early days of wheatpasting I made a batch following the traditional flour recipe and added a bit of glue, like I had read online. A week later I went back to check out the piece I had done and it was covered in snail and they had eaten half of the poster. It was gnarly. Maybe I should have added salt, but at that point I might as well bake a cake. I never used the recipe again. Yeah mate, most ppl make wheatpaste once and think fuck that never again.
