100% goes on walls. Always bought with intention to hang but just resold 1-2 which didn't catch my fancy upon receiving in person.

All of my art goes on the walls. The only things I keep in my portfolio are pieces waiting to be framed.

Roughly 7.5%    

80% with the intention to hang the remainder in the future, when I fancy a change/get a bigger house (delete as required).

Used to have more sitting around in a portfolio but now sold most of it, so hopefully sitting on someone else's wall.

Eventually I'd like all of it on the wall, just buying a bigger place so once I move in to that there will be a lot more room for it. Just need to get it all framed up.

At the moment it's 50/50, but thats cause I spent too much on art and not enough on framing rather than not wanting it on the wall

100% goes on the walls. If I can't frame it then I don't buy it. I've learnt to buy only what I love and pass on those that I just like which is sometimes harder than it sounds.

Regardless of the amount of art wall space I have, I frame everything and lean it against a wall in the house waiting to change it up sooner or later.

must say I am in the more pieces than walls......ideally like a place big enough for it all but based on the premiss of fuk all chance of that. I store some and the others I rotate around. I have a little art room in our apartment what is supposed to be a study/office space that is great for keeping stuff. also has a load of shelves so can display a load of bits there.

try not to buy too much and be a bit selective but I am a bit of a magpie and like to keep rather than sell or trade regardless of their worth living abroad also makes the selling and trading a conceptual pain in the arse.

We have just bought a place in London so when we go in and out in the future may start reducing things down. Do like the concept and those that manage the if not on the walls move it on. Very good concept but know I will never do it.

2/3 of my art is framed but I changed my approach on how to show it - I went from 'Petersburg Hanging' to only show two, max three pieces per wall and change those on a regular base.

the remaining 1/3 sits in a portfolio - some waiting to be framed and the remaining pieces which don't make the wall will be sold ( and boy learning to do that was tough )

Can only speak for me but i have a couple of pieces which I really liked at release but ,with a bit of distance , I am just not sure if they make the wall. Others are just victims of a changing taste.

You guys are so strong. I admire your will power. I myself am a weak victim of my art collector obsession and got much more art in the portfolios than on the walls. But one day (when I got more walls and more money) I will frame the collection, I swear ... (crosses fingers behind his back).

altho we have over 100 pieces and not much room, framing stuff is now on the agenda rather than buying more art work

I would say its more of an addiction than collection but slowly turnign the tables and getting pieces up lol
