Anthony Lister's stuff can be seen on his site- www.listerart.com.au/ it has a bio, links to past exhibitions etc. Most of the other artists have sites that can be accessed through the links section on this forum.

tips for 2008?, by BMG on Dec 23, 2007 1:11:50 GMT 1, I predict a year of correction, street artists prints moving more slowly and money moving out of the scene rather than in. Some Galleries to close (or adjust the art they show) and ebay baggers to move back to more traditional pastures like Kate Moss at Top shop and concert tickets. (I hope so anyway as its red hot at the moment and if the next year boosts it even more, jesus prints will end up costing a lot). Word is a lot of Polish/ eastern european art will be flavour of 2008 as the tate begins to run shows based on their 2007 acquisitions. I would name names but I honestly have no idea.
Speaking of... Our next show is an amazing young Polish artist living working in Dusseldorf, Angelika J. Trojnarski - her Skeletom Park series in particular are stunning in person, all large-scale oils on canvas

tips for 2008?, by anewspace on Dec 23, 2007 13:29:42 GMT 1, I think the scene will grow bigger and into more homes. The main print houses seem to expanding to different areas. Such as P.O.W NORTH. More people will have the work available to them and will become more aware. Prices will be more consistant on the secondary market we won't see such huge rises overnight. Also as we are all getting older and the scene is maturing I think we'll see more modern forms of traditional/classical art such as micallef and swoon. These are not really graf art more outsider art and I think you'll see a growth in this area. Everything effects everything
Banksy will still be huge but I feel there is so much money tied up in Banksy that to see a major drop will be very unlikely.
Hopefully we'll see alot more new work, the L.A. prints seem to be hanging around a long time.

Totally agree, it will grow up north, if not next year then very soon, theres nowt up here, like this. I have a smal shop, with my pictures on the wall, aswell as cauty, hewett ect. And peope love it cos they have never seen anything like it anywhere. People want something different and thats why it will grow, there's a lot of people who havent come across this type of art, and galleries such as Lazinc in Newcastle is a good thing, for the growth.
(IMO) Cheers

So its true then, the Polish are indeed coming! I would feel proud, but I'm just passing on a tip from an art curator and adding it up with Tate's acquisitions at art fairs this year.

If I was Ian I wouldn't release another print for a very long time...keep yourself special my man.
And Parla? Well, that's just a rocket waiting to take off.

tips for 2008?, by Harveyn on Dec 24, 2007 21:21:37 GMT 1, I think Matt Small and Guy Denning will continue to move forward. I think DFace is due for a massive year. The Faile boys can do no wrong and Micallef will return to haunt hid doubters.
Its a year for buying originals and prints with customization by the artist.
I think Herakut will be massive.
