CYW for sale £3950, by artylang on Feb 23, 2011 23:12:44 GMT 1, are people really paying that much for these? This is such a weak image. You all really like it? Seriously?

Shepard Fairey HPM For sale by owner, by artylang on Feb 22, 2011 18:26:08 GMT 1, Please let the forum know where I have ripped anyone off? I was previously banned for voicing an adversarial opinion.
Are you stupid? I dont care what you sell, or when you sell it. Yea, it was poor of you to flip that charity Swoon print the day after you bought it, but stuff happens, it's cool man.
Just dont be a hypocrite about it. It has the horrible stench of pathetic. Then we can all have a nice day.
Here is my advice to you: Dont come and crap on my sales threads where I am at least open and honest about what I am doing, when you are a shady, lying, street piece stealing person.
Here's a free bump so everyone knows what they are dealing with.

Shepard Fairey HPM For sale by owner, by artylang on Feb 22, 2011 17:17:32 GMT 1, No pm?
It's fine that you're selling it, and it's fine that your grandfather got you an extra. More power to you. I wish I could have gotten two. I love being able to double up on a print. It's how I am able to afford more art for my collection. But, do not come on here holier than thou and accuse others of the same things you do. Again, it makes you a hypocrite and an ass.
Im sure you're a nice kid once your foot is out of your mouth. Just dont rush on here with accusing people of the same thing you plan to do.
Good luck with your sales.

Shepard Fairey HPM For sale by owner, by artylang on Feb 22, 2011 14:28:18 GMT 1, funny, when you and your grandpa were in line for that Kaws print I could have sworn you were going to keep them both. And what's with tearing down a brand new Bast street piece and selling it on ebay?
Look im sure you're a nice kid, but when you say things a month or two ago like "all the usual flippers were in line..." make sure you're not one of them. It makes you look like an ass. Don't throw stones. I may flip stuff, but at least I own it.

Retna "The Hallelujah World Tour" NY, 11th Feb, by artylang on Feb 16, 2011 15:28:03 GMT 1, It seems as though Retna is a nice guy and I do wish him well. At times his work is very strong. But to call this show anything but an over hyped, over priced, rush job is ridiculous and uneducated. The sad thing is, the only one who will be hurt by this is Retna. Maybe if you have a relationship with the guy you should recommend he reads Collecting Contemporary by, Adam Lindemann and he will see that slow and steady always wins the race. Not, slow and steady until some trust fund babies tell you they can make you a wealthy man overnight. We've seen this a million times. It never works out.

Swoon in upcoming group show, by artylang on Feb 10, 2011 1:39:18 GMT 1, So I just heard that Swoon is going to be in a group show up at Show and Tell Gallery in Toronto. I think there is going to be an affordable print as well. Nice to see her supporting young galleries.

Retna "The Hallelujah World Tour" NY, 11th Feb, by artylang on Feb 7, 2011 18:28:07 GMT 1, I just saw some setup images on www.arrestedmotion.com and I gotta say it looks like one giant disappointment. He did some really nice looking prints with a gallery I believe called Rivera and Rivera. Those got me very excited. This looks very bland. There is some force out there hyping the hell out of this guy. If this is what they had up there sleeve there will be a lot of disappointed people.

You are mistaken. I have documentation from Faile that says otherwise. They are from an extremely varied series of about 20 - 25. Most made for the streets and some sold around the DC show in 2006. This paper is thicker and more durable than butcher paper. Actual letter will accompany print.
