Banksy โข Weston Super Mare Print, by funster on Jun 9, 2008 12:05:26 GMT 1, I'd suggest that a gift or an A/P wouldn't ever be numbered /50 - also PUD's info on these things is always good and the signature does look a bit strange when enlarged.

possible fake soup can on ebay , by funster on Jun 6, 2008 12:13:29 GMT 1, Umm, not sure if anyone's realised, but this is a great outcome a) it's good to know people are concerned over fakes on ebay and prepared to help others out; b) it's not a fake as the owners claified the situations

Make me an offer on my Conor Harrington print, by funster on Jun 6, 2008 11:54:41 GMT 1, Atleast you've got common ground, my other half doesn't let me have any modern art up in the house - so we've just got a John Wilson and some other bits and bobs Atleast I spend more time in my office than at home so I can appreciate it

Dan Baldwin ๐ฌ๐ง New Print Release โข Art For Sale, by funster on Jun 4, 2008 10:14:34 GMT 1, I've got a selection of Neates and Banksy's up in my office but the piece of art that always gets people interested when they come in not knowing anything about art is the Baldwin original. In many ways I think it must have a wider appeal than I realise. I nearly sold mine a few months back but would have regretted it now if I did.

My find in london by Dreweatts selfridges (pics) !, by funster on Jun 4, 2008 9:55:58 GMT 1, Bloody hell. You can't win around here at the moment. GrantB finds something he likes, shares it with this forum, doesn't offer it for sale and bang, gets slated for it. Surely this is what the forums for, people finding things that others didn't? I say fair play for finding it, recognising it and sharing it with us.

DFace Street Improvement Prints, by funster on May 28, 2008 12:20:01 GMT 1, In fairness to Seidbereit I think you'd have to be pretty nuts to sit and ponder whether you wanted it or not before hitting the buy button, it's not like he's bought it and it now features on the for sale board moments later.... or does it

Space bound Plonker...., by funster on May 27, 2008 15:21:33 GMT 1, Recently there was an amazing video on the forum of a guy called Joe Kittinger who parachuted from the edge of space back in the 60's. How much of a baffoon would you feel if you tried to copy him 40 years later and this happened??...

Just how bad is the big bad suit?, by funster on May 27, 2008 13:01:19 GMT 1, The impression I get from my short time on here is certain folk think that people that wear a suit can't possibly have any history/artistic interest in this scene, are only in it for the money or because they want to look cool and are causing prices to go up and out of real fans reach. Obvisouly for the most part it's a pretty nonsensical and biggoted view but new lovers of the art with money are pushing prices up, whether they wear a suit or not is debatable though.
I wear a suit atleast 50% of my working hours, I really don't see the problem nor it's link to me appreciating art that I know I couldn't do myself. I also started collecting street art years and years ago before the investment element was even an issue. To say that a suit automatically means all your interested in is profit is nonsense, it just means that you're within a working sector whereby it's considered polite.
As a side story... I went over to Elms Lesters the week before last to take a business acquaintance round, as I turned up early I thought I'd have a quick drink at the pub at the top of the road. I went up to the bar juggling two phones and not paying attention and ordered a beer, when I went to pay I looked around and realised I was in a goth bar with skeletons all over the place and hardcore music - and then the manager came over and made me take my jacket and tie off
