AUGUSTG 1000 post Giveaway countdown. , by tartarus on May 31, 2017 21:41:53 GMT 1, What an awesome photo. I love John, I bought a sketch from him whilst he was chilling on the street outside the gallery. Preferred to give the money directly to John than going through the gallery its funny seeing him still sit out there. he likes to do it. He also loves sending the little bits out into the world with people. Pretty sweet thing to be doing really.
You wont have to worry about that anymore. There was a for rent sign in the window and a full restoration job going on inside. so i guess its RIP to Griffin Gallery. Shame really, some great times and experiences in there and met a bunch of awesome people.

Theresa May seeks General Election, by tartarus on May 31, 2017 14:04:48 GMT 1, interesting to see, not that im a fan of polls. That graph would suggest labour are taking votes from everyone. it also shows a fantastic turn of pace when it comes to those lines converging. looks like the data stops around May 22nd too. not exactly been a good week for her either. Lots of young new voters registering. Bodes well for the left. they will make a big difference for sure. Id say very few are likely to be tories. I remember being in their position having grown up under thatcher. The fact that they have jumped into politics which is soo uncool, shows they have done it with a passion and determination for change if you ask me.
100% glad to see Corbyn going to the debate!! do you think May has yet another U-Turn in her?
i think the latest yougov results are suggesting hung parliament at the moment. probably the least reliable of all the polls mind you!
May has a week of disasters ahead and JC will no doubt keep hitting it out of the park.
plus of course!! PEOPLE POWER!!!!!

Theresa May seeks General Election, by tartarus on May 31, 2017 13:25:15 GMT 1, strange how this is getting no airtime eh. but then again, the people paid for it, the people voted for it, once again, the Tory machine has has taken it off us!! standard tory policy. A clip was played on the PM programme on radio 4 yesterday afternoon. I was impressed that they played it. According to my son, it's trending (I think he said its trending at 30, but I have no clue what that means. He sounded impressed though). interesting to hear someone had the nuts to play a bit at least!
something to do with internet popularity i think coach. Cant say im that clued up on it either!

Theresa May seeks General Election, by tartarus on May 30, 2017 21:40:07 GMT 1, i predict the unexpected outcome that the polls are rigged, the media full of shite and the result is a solid labour win.
Corbyn has a tide of support from new voters and newly registered, he has been fantastic to watch in action, partly as he keeps his composure, stands by his beliefs and is always solid and restrained in his actions.
May is coming apart at the seams regularly, has managed to put a pile of her support off, and regularly proves she is only capable of undermining herself. Everytime she says strong and stable now, she will lose another voter!
i still think a huge swing to labour in the polls (yougov most likely) in an attempt to keep the Labour voters sat at home in expectation of a landslide. That was their fear for the Tory faithful when May had 30 point lead.

Theresa May seeks General Election, by tartarus on May 29, 2017 20:57:21 GMT 1, i like the way they go to a big point of saying the audience is there for balance, stating a third labour a third tory and a third undecided. and then managed to select questions only from people that looked like they would be happy to nail him to the floor with rusty nails!! That irish fella had some serious rage issues by the look of it!

Theresa May seeks General Election, by tartarus on May 29, 2017 19:41:50 GMT 1, Not really may v Corbyn is it though. May will get free pass after free pass when she screws up, and Corbyn will be constantly asked muck raking questions created from non truths. It will show Corbyns usual calmness under pressure and ability to discuss issues. Then theres May who i really hope to see go very red and maybe even go pop at some point. although i always hope for that bit, and it didnt happen yet!
Were going to have to rely on the audience to make this anything good.

Theresa May seeks General Election, by tartarus on May 29, 2017 15:13:18 GMT 1, ok i see what you mean re the trust fund stuff. But if they are buying into Corbyns version and are top 5% then they are the exact people he says he will target. There is nothing in Corbyns past to suggest he plans to do anything but good for the poor, hes stood by his views from day dot and has a solid history to go with it. admittedly he isnt the be all and end all of making it work! I do still wonder if your more worried about what has been seen in the past and letting it cloud the idea that Corbyn may take the best elements of various ideals and find a way to improve our future though. after all, many "new" concepts are often reimaginations of what went before. im retaining my gushing hope!! and lets be honest, May is 6 hours from one of the worst moments of her life. Shes probably holed up mainlining valium somewhere! I think Corbyn's a bit of an enigma.
He has made some good points. I'm not so sure about people in his cabinet like Diane Abbot.
Surely any prime minister needs to choose the best people for cabinet positions
In reality as long as tax loop holes exist. No matter what the tax rate is, the rich will always avoid paying tax. The poor are always double taxed. They pay tax on their earnings plus they pay tax on petrol and tax and VAT on things they buy too.
I havent seen any political party say they will do anything about the out of control crimes burglary violence etc etc that is blighting many parts of the UK. Too much victim blaming and sympathy for criminals these days. not sure why the Abbott thing is such a big deal. If it based on one radio interview its a bit much. just an over rinsed story that would never have got 5 minutes if it had been a tory. as the Hammond incident shows well, 20 billion out, the Chancellor of the Exchequer to boot, and what, seen once or twice on the day in the media then gone. the media smears have done theor job, people have bought it, its only the fact that the Tory machine is in total melt down and even the press have stuck the knife in a few times, that people are noticing it now. That said, he needs to jog a few on for sure! Needs a Blairite purge!
I thought he had said he will close the loopholes no? could be wrong, but id be sure that he will. along with doing something about the tax havens to some degree. and the corporate giveaways. Im sure he will be chasing all the unpaid corporation tax the Tories have no interest in too. That could amount to some hell of a lot of money, and i think a fair few big companies will pay up before he gets on their case. It would be better for them, if he is going to make a point of it. Easy left when you know the government dont care if you pay or not.
Ive seen stuff saying the crime rate has increased, (no surprise, less cops less capabilities. not hard) but not seen anything about places like you describe. there are no war zones here.
im not sure what you mean by sympathy for criminals. is it sympathy though? or is it more about finding the causes and dealing with them before things escalate? i mean you could say not putting a heroin addict in jail for stealing is sympathy, but if they are going into a programme to get clean, then they are less likely to steal than they were if you jailed them. Its more a pragmatic approach to a solution than sympathy.

Theresa May seeks General Election, by tartarus on May 29, 2017 14:28:03 GMT 1, can you expand on this bit? i mean when it comes to trust funds the Tories will be a long way ahead of labour. Also, is there anything so wrong about taking some Marxist ideals and reforming them into something new that works? if thats even his plan! Just believing in the principles doesnt mean he is going to reintroduce the Communist manifesto. I believe in a lot of budhist ideology, but youd never know it if you met me. left the first bit as i cant agree more! 1. Marxism believes that capitalism is not only an economic system but is also a political system.
2. Marxism believes that economic conflict produces class (rich, middle and poor) and inherently class produces conflict. www.historylearningsite.co.uk/sociology/theories-in-sociology/marxist-concepts/
A couple of points from the link above.
Where I think Marxism shoots itself in the foot.
Marxism believes capitalism is also a political system, and so is Marxism a political system. Capitalism is not a political system. It is a system based on making a profit and created by the people who run the banks.
There are plenty of very rich people who spout Marxist ideology who themselves are capitalists and who prop up capitalism.
Marxism today or the version of Marxism that is promoted is a scam and a fraud against the poor telling them that with marxism, the poor will always be poor but don't worry we will control the money on your behalf and make sure that under us you are comfortably poor.
What did Marx mean by "economic conflict"? Did he mean gaining economically through violence or did he mean gaining through controlling assets and working to raise prices?
If economic conflict is about the rich against the poor then as I said before there are plenty of rich who support Marxist ideology and who give nothing to the poor directly and who refuse to mix with the poor and would rather hang out with other rich people and luvvies.
"Class produces conflict" I guess in todays world, class has been re defined. It doesn't seem to matter if one is ignorant ass**t as long as that person is wealthy or a celebrity or employed at a high level in the financial sector etc. Elitism is todays upper class. No matter how stupid a person is they will always be accepted by other elites if that person has money or has a large following as do people in the media and entertainment , sporting industry.
In reality religious ideology and religious politicism is the conflict creator today.
Just like religious ideology of any religion that tells us how to live our lives. Anyone with any sense knows the difference between good and bad, honesty and being fair in society and towards others and doesn't need some religious book to tell them the difference between who or what is good or bad and whats best for them and for others.
Just like religion. Marxism is a scam.
Did Marx actually ever work for a living and contribute anything?

Theresa May seeks General Election, by tartarus on May 29, 2017 12:58:10 GMT 1, Polls just like the news and journalism are biased to whatever globalist agenda is behind all of thes prostitutes, I mean politicians and journalists. Theresa May seeks General Election, by tartarus on May 28, 2017 21:30:28 GMT 1, are you sure you dont mean she is blatantlys**t scared of being in front of people not to mention totally useless at it? So she has sent in Rudd who is dumb enough to think this will in some way score her points or maybe further her carer. May can then at least say she wasnt the one responsible for the screw up that will be the tory showing in the "leaders" debate. Its not confidence that leads her to do this, that couldnt be further from the truth! Its weakness, poor performance, poor image, lack of ability to control her anger and for that matter her face. Which oozes hate and discontent any time she is questioned on something she doesnt like, and also shows how unable to negotiate or deal with stressful situations she is. She certainly ISNT a calm head in a negotiation, which is whats needed. Basically, shes a piss poor figure head so is sending in someone else, even though that totally undermines her credibility. I still think she is just throwing it all under the bus to get out. Worst effort from a "leader" ive ever seen! You could well be right and considerin the election is a snap election. There hould be televised leaders debates on the main TV channels including SKY TV. It's the parties leader that will be the next prime minister so they should account for themselves in a televised debate.
May was not elected as PM, it was Cameron who jumped ship and May was only elected leader of the Tory party by Tory members not the population.
Wonder who the next Tory party leader will be? fully agree with that last bit. i have hope that she wont be left with much to lead though! May if she is throwing it under the bus, is going out on a scorched earth policy. As you say, she was parachuted in when it was deemed safe to do so, then SHE decided an election was a good idea. I bet the rest were dead set against that plan! Since then, she just seems to keep finding ways to out do the last piss poor decision she made.
Im loving watching it, but amazed at how many people still seem to back her! it almost defies logic to watch her actions and still be able to think "yes, thats the person i want in charge, and those are the decisions that will make lives better" But she is managing to turn huge numbers of people off now, it just seems she really has to put in the effort to screw it up! Thats one area where i have faith in her ability to excell though.
yougov polls are interesting watching for someone that really doesnt trust polls too. Having realised the mistake of having a perceived huge majority (you voters decide its a whitewash and stay in to watch eastenders instead of voting) they have now shot back into labours favour to the point of a 5 point tory lead. im pretty much anticipating them heading to a full on 30 point labour lead now in the hope of keeping labour voters on their arses at home instead of the tory faithfull. It seems like a crazy swing in so little time, but nothing nothing would shock me now. I mean yougov is tory owned, it sure as hell isnt going to be offering balanced opinion polls now is it.

Theresa May seeks General Election, by tartarus on May 28, 2017 20:03:55 GMT 1, Strange that May refuses to take part in the leaders debate. She must think the Tories have the election in the bag. Or maybe that Rudd has better knowledge on peoples concerns at the moment and jump on that band wagon for political points scoring. are you sure you dont mean she is blatantly shit scared of being in front of people not to mention totally useless at it?

Theresa May seeks General Election, by tartarus on May 27, 2017 22:50:01 GMT 1,
May, literally slaughtered by her "friends" and allies. strong and stable
Abbott is still 19.7 billion pounds cheaper than this mug and he "runs" our economy!
Pob just isnt that sure what the hell is going on.
as for your last video, what would you rather? he comes out and condemns the IRA as a singular group and destroys the peace just to pacify the press? Do you not get that hes making the sane choice while the press etc desperately try to make him screw up by shaming them even though that risks more violence? That would be stupid. And he has stated many times he condemns all bombings, so that story is one of the vilest and most divisive things i have ever seen manipulated into being.
did you miss this lady in the news by any chance?
tompride.wordpress.com/2017/05/21/former-active-ira-member-serving-as-tory-party-councillor/
what does this pic say? is it Kent out to support Sussex or vice versa, or was it maybe the NEITHER Kent or Sussex tories were up for being there to support their "leader"
This sums it all up really.

Manchester Explosion, by tartarus on May 24, 2017 1:08:36 GMT 1, Bakshi and Milo99 should be banned for their comments on this thread, I can't believe that no-one else thinks this too? If Bakshi was my neighbour, I'd be reporting him to MI5, he is showing dangerous signs of a radicalised extremist, there can be NO justification of some coward little w***er heading out to kill children, he is of the opinion that this is ok because of people dying in other countries.... Ban this cockroach! And Milo99 feels that now is the time to make f***ing jokes ....... "This guy Osama bin loading was arrested who lived near me, apparently he was planning a mass murder" Daniel Silk or Dappy or Forum Guardians, take a look, this can't right can it? Be careful what you say dude. This is very wrong.
Its hard to get into this on a thread like this so im going to go very gently here. While there is no justification for whats been done, the reason in the perpetrators head may well be the attacks our country has made on other countries, in which children have been killed. Distasteful as this blatantly is, pointing out this is a series of events that causes such tragedies, does not make Bakshi a bad person in the slightest, hes just telling it as it is. Maybe emotion has taken over, which i get. but i think it may have led you to misunderstand Bakshi's point.

World debt , by tartarus on May 20, 2017 11:19:37 GMT 1, Call me a plonker but why is this so hard to settle? Pretty much every country owes each other money, so why can a country say give a billion which it owes, to another country, which then gets passed to another debtor country and so on. Constantly passing it on writing off loads of debts with the same money... Am I just being stupid?? They make money off the interest, and we are the ones that pay it.
very short version!
