Harland Miller’s Largest Solo Exhibition 14th Feb, by astbury on Aug 24, 2020 18:43:05 GMT 1, Agreed this does look great.
May cause a little confusion amongst a lot folk, but can anyone share some examples of how you have framed this poster? Mine landed last week, would appreciate any examples of how to do it? This one did catch my eye on Instagram.

Chiswick • Urban Art Auctions 🇬🇧, by astbury on May 25, 2020 21:28:41 GMT 1, No, on the basis that they are fake, as in not real, but by all means you should buy them and collect your fortune when you re-sell them at Sotheby's. I've never bought or sold anything at auction in my life.
Sold a few items to you which you then sold in your own Forum Auction though, Rupert.
This isn't Rupert but same as you I've sold stuff to Rupert only for it to be immediately sold at Forum Auctions and another item turned up at RAW Editions, I wonder if she's someway involved too.

I'm all for calling out fakes, but as you're the Head of Modern and Contemporary Prints and Editions at a rival auction house, your motivation appears to be conflict of interest rather than good will.
Good call, always knocking Chiswick and the other house's then punting Forum Auctions lots. Maybe turned down for a job there?

Chiswick • Urban Art Auctions 🇬🇧, by astbury on May 25, 2020 12:55:30 GMT 1, I noticed this today too, quite a lot in there, hopefully I'll pick up a couple of bits. Was kind of hoping it would go under the radar.

Banksy • Tesco Petrol Bomb Poster, by astbury on Apr 8, 2020 23:36:14 GMT 1, It is kept rolled in a tube "as issued" my friend. I keep prints that doesn't have original packaging in my own tubes, which are very strong, unlike usual postage tubes. For more photos please see ebay listing. Best regards
Looking at the photo you shared, you have at least 8? of these in "your own tubes"? apart from the ones you have in the original tubes? Which for anyone that doesn't know they didn't come in a tube, they came in a plastic sleeve.

Banksy • Tesco Petrol Bomb Poster, by astbury on Apr 8, 2020 22:32:42 GMT 1, and you claim you had never heard of this forum until recently, yes you've been collecting and selling some of the main artists discussed on here.
I call BS.
It is just stunning how muchs**t can go over you out of nothing. Nearly 5000 people have viewed this thread. I am sure someone have an original and could point out if there would be something wrong, apart from the fact that I have a several prints in good condition, and with the extras. It is also in my interest to know if there is really something wrong. Why in a world people are jumping into conclusions and trying to accuse and discredit without asking and clarifying facts first. It started even before I posted pictures. I have been actively investing in Banksy memorabilia over last years, as the prices are going up steady. Is this is really so unbelievable? I invest in the same things that sells well for me, this is why I have multiple amount of items. I am carefully sourcing all of them and rarely would buy if items are not in very good condition. Currently I also started buying stik and looking to invest in kaws. I am aspired to grow a portfolio and possibly turn it into a business. I don't mean to prove anything right now, just stressed and grieved and needed to let it out.

vad77 online posted 5 hours ago No reply Dear Matt, Sorry, I was working night shift and was not able to reply right away. Since you have brought this up here, I have to put out all of the story. I have also added screenshots from our conversation on paypal. I have nothing to hide. You have purchased the print from me about 8 weeks ago, on 17 February, to be exact. I have provided you best service I could, prior and post sales and you was happy with everything. After I have advertised for sale these prints on this forum, someone started trolling, telling that for some reason my prints are not authentic. You told me that it made you concerned, even thought there was no valid argument for it, and asked me to if you can return it. As I have a strict no-return policy, obviously I had to refuse it. No-return terms was clearly stated in the listing description, it is mentioned on this forum and I am telling it to every buyer. I am providing every opportunity to view and inspect the art prior the sale. I offer personal viewing, I am providing as many pictures or even video as requested, but once I have posted the art or gave it away, I do not accept returns. Why do you expect it otherwise now, after nearly 2 months having it in your possession? I have provided all of the provenance and proof I promised and everything you asked. If you need anything else to confirm, I am still here. Whether it is enough to reassure you, you should have made a decision prior to sale. Not 2 months later. I have listed these prints here at 20% lower than anywhere else on the internet. And it is listed on several places. As much as I am aware, this is the best offer on the internet for this print in mint condition right now. I hoped I am making a good deal. Now I absolutely regretting about it. All I got is a baseless accusation by some trolls and your dispute. I guess I will take it down in a few days. Not taking it down already, just because I don't want it to look like I'm hiding. As with all of my buyers I was 100% honest and transparent with you regarding everything since the very beginning. I have never made a claim I can not confirm. I have never lied or tried to mislead you in any way. I was there to answer any of your questions and support you. I sold you the print at such a low price, you wouldn't find anywhere else. After all of this effort, please do not portrait me in a negative way. It would be not fair, since I have delivered on every promise. As I mentioned before on this forum, you can find me on Facebook, I am happy to meet in person and even at my house for sales. By no means I would be hiding, I am very open person and I am looking to get to know as many people personally as possible. Best regards

Coronavirus effect on the art market?, by astbury on Mar 31, 2020 14:05:08 GMT 1, Most folks here use new posts to navigate.
"Use different forum"
As i said, if you use 'new posts' to navigate the forum you don't open threads... Use new threads.

Coronavirus effect on the art market?, by astbury on Mar 31, 2020 10:23:54 GMT 1, Is there a Corona Virus online forum out there anywhere? It's obviously a subject you feel passionate about unfortunately this is an Urban art forum and that's what the majority come her to chat about and get away from real life for a while.
Please have a little search around and see if you could take your passion elsewhere or maybe find some art to talk about 🙏
Some of the elder nhs staff I know, who have always been staunchly anti privatisation, have been amazed and pleasantly surprised at the speed things have changed in the past few weeks. I think now they have seen what a cash injection can do they may well alter their views, as long as we can truly still provide for all.
