Pejac โข H2O Print, by Inknart on Dec 6, 2019 19:49:34 GMT 1, Just some quick info, the final lottery ticket had order number 2019136x, and I think it started around 400ish, so there should be about 950 tickets sold Good luck all ... 25 lucky 'winners' then Just move those odds of winning over 1 decimal 9.5% to .95%

BANKSY Gross Domestic Productโข, by Inknart on Dec 6, 2019 16:37:27 GMT 1, Anyone who buys from someone with โ#banksytruckโ written on the side of his van deserves to be conned. What the hell kind of stunt would it be to drive round openly selling reproductions of his old work near a major art fair? Eh, I'm probably in the minority but I don't think anyone deserves to be conned. I feel like the people here are such fans that we understand why this is fake where people who are more casual fans probably wouldn't. This is someone being greedy intending to deceive people and it's not even a clever attempt. The only thing smart that they did was set up in a box truck so if they get chased off they can go somewhere else. Let's be honest, if anyone of us was there , and saw this truck, if there were hand sprayed items like this for 50 dollars like nyc , would you really gawk and move on with the fomo ? I'm not an expert, but a 50 dollar risk ( I actually have no idea what they charged) i would be in.

Pejac โข H2O Print, by Inknart on Dec 5, 2019 19:50:21 GMT 1, It's a good way to game everyone who enters because you know the whole run is not available. You do not know what the actual odds are. How many are for sale? 50? If that? You're pissing your money away. If you want to donate โฌ20 just donate it. ... this ... It would be atrocious to advertise it as an edition of 100 and only sell 50 , while deceiving the general public and having them spend money to enter, charity contribution or not.
It should be 100% legitimate in this instance. If it's just a free lottery where GP sells only 30% fine, but holding back prints for VIP's ect and asking this of the general population would be unacceptable.

Pejac โข H2O Print, by Inknart on Dec 5, 2019 19:26:05 GMT 1, There are legalities to running a "lottery". In this case there is no technical lottery, everyone is purchasing a product. They are then choosing from the purchase list to buy the edition. If there was no "purchase to enter" than everyone and their grandma will enter with multiple accounts, encourage flipping etc. This is smart - and its for charity. I can't pretend to have any knowledge of lottery or raffle laws in Spain, but lotteries for art happen (GDP just did one) and he does expressly call this a lottery on his website. I still think his methodology is hypocritical, but I'm not judging anyone for entering his lottery. My criticism is of him for not practicing what he preaches. I like his giant bio degradable wooden shipping crates...
Pejac seems like someone who found a niche with his artistic direction, but does he really actually care about the environment if he cannot be arsed with trying to find a way to stop wasting what his art dictates
Will add that i do like how on the open edition and this he adds a little HF/Stamp. Maybe less of the containers go to landfills.
Maybe they're made of recycled products? But doubtful.

Kaws NGV - COMPANIONSHIP IN THE AGE OF LONELINESS, by Inknart on Dec 4, 2019 20:24:43 GMT 1, I just glanced at the T and C ... "No cancellations" Seems pretty advantageous, especially when the size wasn't even listed. Could be considered deceiving. Itโs absolutely standard. Look at the conditions on most releases and it will say no cancellations. Otherwise theyโd have people buying instantly then taking their time to consider whether they want to keep it. Big headache for the sellers. If you donโt want something, donโt buy it. While i agree, there could be a million different reasons outside of not wanting something.
This seller should have also been transparent about the product specifications. Not having the size advertised could lead to false advertising or lack there of imo.

Kaws NGV - COMPANIONSHIP IN THE AGE OF LONELINESS, by Inknart on Dec 4, 2019 19:57:46 GMT 1, I pulled the trigger prematurely because I was worried about an immediate sell out. Once I found out the size I requested a cancellation. Ngv said no cancellations, so I am trying through my card now. If that's unsuccessful I'd be happy to pass it on at cost to another member here. Don't care for small pieces so this won't fit in the collection I donโt understand how they can not accept your cancellation request? I thought when buying anything on the internet you have a basic right to a refund within a set period under distant-selling rules. Is this not the case then? I just glanced at the T and C ... "No cancellations"

Kaws NGV - COMPANIONSHIP IN THE AGE OF LONELINESS, by Inknart on Dec 2, 2019 2:24:51 GMT 1, Price will increase as the edition sells. Thoughts on this for $4k? Edition of 750 is huge. How many colors is the screen print? Came out under 4K usd shipped.
I mean... for 2k less people went crazy over 2 blankets.
Assuming the book is 8x10โ, the print looks to be a decent size.
when was the last print from a single numbered edition outside of a portfolio ?

KAWS - Blankets Studio Voltaire, by Inknart on Nov 27, 2019 21:00:42 GMT 1, I love how people like to quote single random auction results to make things relevant. At the end of the day it's still a fukcing blanket F****** blanket I don't see too much of that happening in these Think it would be fairer to reference actual substance as well between those blankets...
Didn't some of these same people talk all kinds of crap on the Banksy Welcome Mat? But because this is from an edition it's amazing?
These do look pretty cool, and will look good on a nice large wall stretched like some examples shown. Congrats to those that scored.

Banksy Welcome Mat, by Inknart on Nov 26, 2019 21:48:34 GMT 1, $1100 and it's sitting there. Once the next release comes out it should push resale prices down enough there there probably won't be much interest from flippers which is actually perfect. More fans can get them. I predict.... As soon as these are in hand the price will shoot up. The people selling them for around 1100 will be bummed in a couple months. All these sales are irrelevant. Either they're unlimited and the buyer will cancel, or they're not and the seller will cancel. And nobody can predict worth, as nobody really knows what the label is, how many will actually be produced, or what the heck is even going on with GDP.

Boycott Over The Influence Gallery?, by Inknart on Nov 26, 2019 17:27:17 GMT 1, I feel like Jerkface print prices should be like Tristan prices. That would be noble of him. Yea Went from $75 a print to $1k a print in 3 years. Thats the true definition of street. Thankfully he's this markers savior so we are in good hands. Weren't his last prints like 3500? With ones 8x8" for 1500 or something incredibly dumb?

Boycott Over The Influence Gallery?, by Inknart on Nov 26, 2019 0:27:28 GMT 1, Apparently the gallery apologized and acknowledged it was wrong. Which to be honestly makes it even more confusing. Only reason they would apologize is because it could hurt their reputation and impact profits. They wouldn't be sorry if they didn't get caught.
I doubt they grew a conscious over night and regretted being assholes.
Doing something like that is pretty black and white when it comes to right vs wrong.
Not to mention hypocritical, when they're literally inflating Invader prices who I would consider street art.

Boycott Over The Influence Gallery?, by Inknart on Nov 25, 2019 23:07:05 GMT 1, I think this post is interesting, Tristan was discrete in his post so I didn't know who the artist was that did that to him. They may pretend that they don't want to be rich and famous but many artists do actually want to be rich and famous...OTI is trying to make this happen for them while making themselves richer. Not thinking it's right but it is how the world works...the guys on the inside get rich. His post literally has a picture of a message to Cleon Peterson...

Boycott Over The Influence Gallery?, by Inknart on Nov 25, 2019 22:47:03 GMT 1, It's crappy, and most people know that he is doing it. With that being said, when you have other high end artists under your umbrella, they can use that credibility to control aspects of that business for better or worse because they're in higher demand.

Banksy Welcome Mat, by Inknart on Nov 25, 2019 19:50:55 GMT 1, I would probably imagine even when they're all ready, they won't ship until it aligns with GDP's shipping. They seem to be doing everything in parallel. Who is doing what ? and what does it run parallel with ?? For 1, it went live at the same time GDP went live. GDP Shipping items 3-5 months, which seems like it is heading towards that time frame.
Updates have been extremely vague, and more of place holders than actual updates on progress and ETA's.
I bet the next update comes around at the time something ships or happens at GDP.

They seem to be doing everything in parallel. I don't see why they would, but maybe? I would think it's more important for them to produce as many as they can and get them out as soon as possible, and move onto release 2 I can't see it being an easy process for them to make. Feb I reckon I for one, still don't see these as being unlimited, but that is just pure speculation from myself. I know others think they will be, but if they were truly unlimited, why not just start shipping them out as they're finished in the order they were paid for? I still think there is a twist in here somewhere along with some of the other unlimited items on GDP.

Banksy RAT Print, Gross Domestic Product , by Inknart on Nov 23, 2019 19:46:22 GMT 1, These look too clean and crisp to be legit or are pfg churning them out ? They're not crisp up close, I assure you, you can def tell they were rolled up and have flaws.
I believe he had 6 that he sold from someone that brought them in right after the show, and I know Mark would never sell anything not legitimate. He's helped me multiple times identify issues with previous Banksy pieces and wouldn't put his reputation or business on the line to make only a profit from the framing portion.
Here is a picture up close... where you can clearly see the lines from being rolled up by those brown coats

BANKSY Gross Domestic Productโข, by Inknart on Nov 21, 2019 23:45:48 GMT 1, I personally would be happy to pay ยฃ500 for a Banksquiat print and wait 10 years for it to be delivered. It was also stated on the site before purchasing. At what point would you start to wonder whether you were ever going to receive your goods knowing that you would have no way of getting your money back if you didn't? I'd give it a good year on this before starting to question it if I heard nothing...
I got a Mat and that was the first piece to actually be paid for and still no idea on timing... I will not ask either.

Pablo Picasso ๐ช๐ฆ Print Release โข Show News โข Art For Sale, by Inknart on Nov 20, 2019 23:39:28 GMT 1, O.0005 chance of winning with any one to ticket! I like those odds "So you're telling me theirs a chance!"
Are you a gambling man? Buy 500K of the tickets, and have a 25% chance at owning a 1 Million Dollar Picasso.
