Katrin Fridriks 🇮🇸 Reykjavík, Iceland • Abstract Art , by Inknart on Nov 20, 2019 16:36:04 GMT 1, avantarte.com/artists/katrin-fridriks/Our fourth collaboration with the wonderfully talented Katrin Fridriks just launched on our website — given the response to each of our previous collaborations with Katrin, we’re really excited to be able to offer her work again to Avant Arte collectors. For these three new editions, Katrin continues an exploration of spiritual awareness and cosmic inspiration in her signature style. Each work has been made using cutting-edge print and post-print techniques, carefully selective embossing, high gloss screens and printed varnish, all of which enhance the volume effect and brightness of the colours. Unlike any editions Katrin has made before, Noble and Awakening Force and Stargate Messenger are all unique, each work having been carefully hand-finished. More info and photos of the three latest editions are below — we hope you get hold of one if you’d like Katrin’s new works in your collection! Please let me know if you’d like any more information or if you have any questions. Thanks, Curtis NOBLE AND AWAKENING FORCE Hand-finished Edition of 33: Signed and numbered Size: 75cm x 50cm Price: €1350 ex. VAT STARGATE MESSENGER Edition of 44: Signed and numbered Size: 50cm x 50cm Price: €500 ex. VAT SPIRITUAL AWAKENING Hand-finished Edition of 44: Signed and numbered Size: 50cm x 50cm Price: €980 ex. VAT These were so tempting, but my royal gene and ethics is massive and i really only need 1 KF, but these look delicious.

That said, I agree it's a weak move. My bad, was too early on my side of the world for maths The rich get richer . Sure he will weasel a nice write off for the other half lol

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by Inknart on Nov 20, 2019 2:26:20 GMT 1, ***PURE SPECULATION POST*** I missed out on GDP. Of course I would love to get something from it but how crazy are the secondary market prices going to be? You know people will flip their items quickly- especially since the welcome mats are on ebay for 3k. can a regular person even afford a secondary GDP item? What do you think? Cushions? $1500? Rat Clock? 10k? Banksquiat? 20k? Spray Can? 2k? Met Ball? 30k? Shirt? 5k? It's honestly not even worth discussing. Nobody knows what GDP really has planned and what is actually what.
Assuming those Rat Coocks, Met Balls, and Banksquiats had COA's you're easily looking at 30k plus for any of the 3. The Shirts, Cushions, Spray Cans, and Mats are up in the air, as I still think Banksy isn't throwing out unlimited items like they were advertised.

Let’s say , it’s impossible to have COA taken care of, because it is. You’re not taken care or because that seller can’t get it for 2 years , let’s say something happens to said seller, you’re SOL and have a banksy that can cannot hold any value so your 22k that can never be authenticated is now worth nothing because original owners contractual fulfillment of waiting 2 years was voided.
If you’re looking at sole price for this piece if it did have a coa , 22k would be a steal because let’s face it , this will be one of the top tiered signed editions.

Stik at Christie’s Sep 18 2019, by Inknart on Nov 19, 2019 18:10:07 GMT 1, Does STIK send an email out every time any piece of his goes to auction? It’s funny Yeah, apparantly he does..... Signed up for releases or new work. Not for a f#cking auction calender. Not funny. Usually they sell for a good cause, so I guess he wants to bring as much attention to it as possible…. He's quite literally obsessed with his results. I assume it's the only thing he cares about at this point, every post has to do with something headed to auction.

Banksy FLOWERS Print, Gross Domestic Product , by Inknart on Nov 15, 2019 0:14:01 GMT 1, ... bit of a random question, and not quite the right thread. But can someone who went to Croydon tell me if the rats in the clocks are in fact smaller than the rats on the rat print. I believe they are, but more than happy to be corrected. I think they are the same, those clocks are huge, 45cm diameter and the prints I think are 50cm. If anything the clock rat is bigger. If I had to guess, I would imagine they're the same size, especially since the posters were hand screened (which i would presume were the same), only difference being the "Hand Finished Smudges" on clocks.

Stik poster 1/100, by Inknart on Nov 14, 2019 23:47:12 GMT 1, Actually, I did gift one to my friend and his wife for there wedding and had it framed for them for there first piece of art. And a signed print that I paid 3500 for and sold for a few hundred more is a little different than a POSTER after gifting another. Also, why don't you go check my history, i've given away for FREE this year multiple prints, and a KAWS Passing Through Piece with a Parra Print Giveaway currently in progress that ends tomorrow. Picture of the one I GIFTED to a friend and had framed for them. One piece i've sold for a little extra in all my time here after constantly giving back to the community seems like a fair trade off. You should try it. You said someones dad is looking for one on the forum. A lot different than gifting to a friend. Hell, I always gift to my friends, do I want a medal for it? No. Too many wannabe angels looking for their wings for the next life on this forum. Good work fella! I haven't known a single person on here and have given away $1000+ in art this year alone through giveaways, in addition to friends. I doubt you have many friends, but you must really be hurting for some money, you should reach out to those friends you've gifted to, to reciprocate those favors.
The "wannabe angels looking for their wings for next life on this forum" comment did make me chuckle though
I would have stood in line for another stranger on this forum if I was near this release and given it to them at cost. Did it many times last year at the LA invader show.

Stik poster 1/100, by Inknart on Nov 14, 2019 18:23:44 GMT 1, So ridiculous... Can get one of the screened banksy "poster"for half that cost. Not to mention originals from up and coming artists and actual editioned prints from tons of others. I know there was a father on here looking for one for his kids. "I know there was a father here looking for one for his kids" Ha ha..... I don't see you donating one of your MOMA Kaws print for a daddy searching for one for his sprogs... Phlegm monumental new etching on the horizon!, by Inknart on Nov 13, 2019 0:21:35 GMT 1, Since no one else is answering that question due to fomo - this will sell out in seconds as always. Love it, but doesn't entice me enough to buy, just a little too busy for my eyes. Can't wait for the book.

Pejac NY Show, by Inknart on Nov 13, 2019 0:20:01 GMT 1, I think the whole true collectors list thing is why it has become a bit of a struggle. Especially with GDP in the background, and entirely the opposite approach. I wasn't far off buying a love letter, and tried hard for a forest, scattercrow, etc. I would have felt very aggrieved to have bought a love letter, to then see hand finished versions for the true collectors being banded about. And if these originals are +30k, it will just seem extraordinary. But if they sell, then who am I to comment. He obviously needs to fund his boat trip over. Really interesting perspective.
I also tried for all the above , with the exception of Love Letter, which I didn't find all that intriguing.
That being said, when sourcing originals at those prices to "Known Collectors," how many would abandon ship and and sell them at a loss/cost at the first sign of his market dipping (Not that it already isn't)?
Pumping pieces to privileged folks at inflated prices in a struggling market seems to be a sure fire way to tank your own market if you're pejac and team.
GDP's approach to try and sell pieces at reasonable prices to people who would be appreciative and inclined to keep pieces because of the price of admission probably will end up yielding a stronger market for said pieces. I know Pejac's are "Originals," but still an interesting perspective.

Pejac NY Show, by Inknart on Nov 12, 2019 22:42:11 GMT 1, Is it just me or are there other Pejac collectors getting turned off by that email and the general "we're so important" vibe? I love Pejac but it's maybe time for him to find a better manager no? With Pejac never talking/writing with the audience (even in his films) versus Max's pretentious writing, his work's meaning is losing all its soul. I think I am losing any feeling of connection I had with the artist and his work. Or I'm just having a bad day... I didn't even get the email and I'm on the mailing list, I'm only interested in prints though. His market seems to always struggle to justify it's own pricing. I wouldn't feel left out, unless you have an extra 40k to spend on a 25k original.

I didn't even get the email and I'm on the mailing list, I'm only interested in prints though. His market seems to always struggle to justify it's own pricing. I wouldn't feel left out, unless you have an extra 40k to spend on a 25k original.

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by Inknart on Nov 12, 2019 19:57:17 GMT 1, Wow my sister-in-law just received an email reminder that she only had a few days left to pay for her winning entry. Apparently she didn't see the first email ( ). She won the cushions, total price was $365 shipped to the states. She said her answer was good. I'm pumped for her! Big congrats to your sister-in-law and yourself for having access to her lovely cussions whenever you visit. I'm guessing these count as editioned originals? Were they an edition of 150? They were tagged as "unlimited" in the GDP online store, but stated "from an edition" at the GDP Physical store... Nobody knows man. Just sit back and wait. It's fun to speculate, but there are probably twists to all this madness.
