Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by bbperez1 on Aug 28, 2021 0:16:29 GMT 1, Wow - 60 sold in the last 4 hours making it the 3rd busiest day of trading since launched! Will it be a $40k regular price at the end of the day? The answer to my own question is “yes, $40k will be the regular price”. Everything on Heni marketplace is now advertised for $40k and over. nft.heni.com/marketplace?order=asc&sort=price
And there are roughly 35-38 on Heni which are under 50k - hopefully by Monday they’re stable off at 50k

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by bbperez1 on Aug 27, 2021 22:36:52 GMT 1, Once it gets to 50k I’m sure you’ll muster the courage to learn and exploit that Avenue Lol, well i don't lack courage... I lack more English expertise and probably an increase of my IQ. I own more WeiWei procelain seeds than grey cells.
Id suggest reaching out to the mods as you’re attempting the transfer - they’ll walk you thru step by step.

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by bbperez1 on Aug 27, 2021 22:07:30 GMT 1, Looks like OpenSea, now more than ever, has the lead regarding selling prices. Gee... I feel stupid to be stuck on the Heni platform as, even after reading the discord threads, I must admit I don't know exactly how to transfer to OpenS. Yes, fees are higher, but the difference is huge... [img class="smile" alt=" " src="//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/embarrassed.png"] PS. And just 15 days ago, I was totally sure I would keep mine for years, frame the paint, period. But now, no way I can afford NOT to sell. I just wish I know the procedure to transfer on Opensea...

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by bbperez1 on Aug 27, 2021 21:19:19 GMT 1, Would it not be fun to recount some of the forecasts I made last week old sports? It was dinkum to a word.
I think we’ve been fairly spot on

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by bbperez1 on Aug 27, 2021 18:54:05 GMT 1, It’s the addiction. This holiday weekend should be cool to observe. Wonder what the floor will be on Tuesday once the dust settles chap?
If it wasn’t for all the sellers undercutting each other we would surely be at 50k by now - conservatively, a steady 37-41k is my guess. We’ve held the 29-34k mark now for some time.

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by bbperez1 on Aug 27, 2021 13:47:03 GMT 1, No idea who this Matt Horgan dude is but it’s interesting the project is being recognised by so called trusted people in the crypto world. The sceptical side of me wonders if he has one (gifted?) or more? Whatever, he has: 1. Helping push up the price 2. Making more people think about keeping the NTF as investments 3. Reduced the number of physicals that will be kept and made these rarer Cheers mate Amazing the power of social media to influence the market. No one knows who this guy is but FOMO is causing people to bun rush. He doesn't know anymore that anyone else on this forum as to the future value of NFTs.
And yet.. here you are, again, belly aching. The problem is you seem to rather complain than inform yourself. “No one knows who this guy is” - well, I can assure you people know, you may not because of your inability to research.. but Matt Hougan is the asset manager at Bitwise. That’s why people listen to him. He has a YouTube channel too. His Twitter is recognized by many as being informative and insightful. Now, just like you told me, this is just your opinion .. I would take into consideration what Matt suggests verses let’s say.. You.

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by bbperez1 on Aug 27, 2021 4:54:27 GMT 1, Does anyone knows why some many got sold within the last 2 hours? Heni marketplace doesn't seem to cope very well with the surge.
Paper hands.
The floor is rising.

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by bbperez1 on Aug 26, 2021 3:28:59 GMT 1, We are currently trading sideways consolidating. Once all the 8.5-11 ETH sellers are gone we can hit the next level. It appears that 34k is the resistance level which needs to be broken to achieve higher prices.
You’re right. It is my opinion. But it’s based off of facts.

They’ve been trading 25-34k consistently. Need to get the paper hands out and establish a firm floor

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by bbperez1 on Aug 22, 2021 18:41:32 GMT 1, And this gentlemen.. is how it’s done. Whoever NFTNoob is.. they’re a beast. Sold for 20 ETH yesterday. Bought back in at 8.5 ETH roughly 37k profit and he has a new Hirst NFT Arguably. One could also say he sold a much more rare and valuable one(11 words/top 1%)for a mediocre one. Although I can see the allure of cashing out AND still having one, he’ll regret it if these things sky rocket. The single word and high number word ones will be worth much more than the 37k he made.
Prospectively. And we don’t know which are “mediocre” v. “Rare” all that is speculation too off of sales. None of this really makes sense until Hirst reveals their white paper and roadmap. There’s a purpose for these.

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by bbperez1 on Aug 22, 2021 18:10:37 GMT 1, It’s been years since I’ve had to rationalize a purchase.. but the reason for the extravagant display is.. well.. cause I can. But aside from that. The cost was 1900$ usd. A nice frame would have been about 4-500$ And it’s also a TV a nice tv these days are about 1k-1500$ USD. It made cents (pun intended) The people here that are not exploring their resources like the discord due to technological ignorance .. well.. that’s unfortunate for them. The people who choose the physical for the “love of art” great. They shouldn’t be too worried about valuation if that’s their intent. Now, as for others.. I intend to keep hence the obnoxious frame. As a collector - speculator why wouldn’t I want a Hirst Original first edition NFT.. Collecting is collecting doesn’t matter the space I.e physical or digital. Now, as you say there are a lot of opinions and most are bias and short sighted. What’s the rush? Digital art is here to stay regardless of what older opinions say. Everyone is searching for some sort of justification for their choice, as well as additional sales and purchases. Yes, there is no rush -but lots of people feel like they've already made their decision - including the nft crowd. Both are here to stay - books and kindle my friend.
By no means am I saying burn all the physical art. But here, I’d say because of the type of release. The artist. The interest. The difficulty- currently in trading and buying - this makes for a perfect storm in time. I’m happy either way. I have a Hirst original in my collection for a moderate price and a new tv lol

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by bbperez1 on Aug 22, 2021 18:08:27 GMT 1, Given the success of this release, what are the chances of Hirst releasing another currency and another, just to experiment on how people would trade those currencies against another? I'm looking forward to a $4000 small cherry blossom currency.
Oh.. you can believe for sure that there will be multiple releases to come. But the first edition there can only be one. I don’t think he would release something to disrupt this one. I.e. more dot paintings but he will likely do another release.

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by bbperez1 on Aug 22, 2021 16:11:06 GMT 1, There’s a huge variable there not being discussed. 90% of this thread is older collectors griping. I can almost guarantee that regardless of the nft price a lot of these will be trade for the physical for the simple fact that the process to sel trade bridge trade and transfer is overwhelming. So they’ll take the physical and less money in the end. I’ve already purchased a 65in Samsung to display the nft - cannot wait to come back and read these posts in three years The selling process is being streamlined, I am sure many of this demographic do not even know what the discord server is. But those that are in this group and still plan to take the physical I admire their resolve -because all opinions are welcome. There are too many people trying to influence the project Really its a personal choice - many of those that flip the nft will be no richer in a years time because their attitude towards money. That is quite extravagant - I am sure a clip frame would suffice.

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by bbperez1 on Aug 22, 2021 15:36:10 GMT 1, The point is that there’s a perception that NFTs always go up and are a sure thing, but that’s not the reality… my old fruit* *troll * exactly - well said Especially not if the 6000 or so (on the fence) holders all suddenly decide to sell in the exchange window

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by bbperez1 on Aug 22, 2021 15:04:31 GMT 1, Was trying to figure out why that one sold for that much. The only thing it has ranking wise is high magenta color🤷🏻♂️ 11 words 16%
I don’t get the rankings much. I haven’t seen a graph that makes sense. Someone here was kind enough to rank based on 1% of their 26 categories - so that might be how they’re trading for so much higher. Weekend sales trended well

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by bbperez1 on Aug 15, 2021 18:17:48 GMT 1, So, just for clarification.. did you sell yours at 7-10k or 15-20k? You don’t think these will hit 100k? It’s seems to be simple math IMO The sales that have occurred within the last 24hrs alone .. seems with 120 examples with very few hitting the market I don’t see why it wouldn’t hit 100k. Fortunately, we will have our answer in a week. To be continued.. Pawel For clarification, I did not sell any of these. I'd say some owners just watch all of and wait. Some of them are scared to do something incorrect and lose it. If the prices hit $100+k many people will simply cash out. It could also be that crypto folks fell in love with these the same way as with cryptopunks. Do you think they could get to the CP levels (43ETH average in the last 90 days)? I thought CP were special as one of the first NFTs
That’s a complex question. Do I think these have that potential.. Yes, when or how long? That I don’t know. To take into perspective, crypto does not play by the same rules of logic as the “art market” - CP was an edition of 10k unique pieces. Same as here. By an artist/artists not as well know as DH. The supply is very low compared to the distributed supply. Many of which will never hit the market and will simply be swapped for the paper. Once the burn occurs and the supply is destroyed. The whales know this and have tried to corner a percentage of the market because over time.. like above mentioned 100=1% or supply currently.. but if.. the nft supply suddenly is 4K not 8k.. well.. simple economics come into play at that point
Also, there was an article posted here of a guy who bought 500 or so of those CP on a whim and now his worth is hundreds of millions because of it
I will make a wager with you. And trust me, I’m easy to find. That within the time BEFORE the swap link is open.. these will be within 20k of 100k north or south.

And trust me, I’m easy to find. That within the time BEFORE the swap link is open.. these will be within 20k of 100k north or south.

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by bbperez1 on Aug 15, 2021 16:40:49 GMT 1, Do yourself a favor and do the research on your own. In the 3 days that you’re trying to figure it out on your own. Your piece will double to 100k and you’ll be grateful you took your time. There are currently 120 left on Heni between 45-100k at this rate they’ll be gone within the next few days Riiiiiiight, $100k minimum in a the next days, you say? I know a couple of people who planned to keep the OG, but they would gladly get a signed Banksy instead.
So, just for clarification.. did you sell yours at 7-10k or 15-20k? You don’t think these will hit 100k? It’s seems to be simple math IMO
The sales that have occurred within the last 24hrs alone .. seems with 120 examples with very few hitting the market I don’t see why it wouldn’t hit 100k. Fortunately, we will have our answer in a week. To be continued.. Pawel

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by bbperez1 on Aug 13, 2021 15:39:59 GMT 1, so, for those keeping track is this where the $$ stands hirst originally made 18 Mil USD from the original Sale of 9 K pieces (10 k made and 1K kept) current value of his 1 K pieces =3.2 mill
Don’t forget the 5% royalties per transaction. Currently around 7mil since inception. Add on top 350k USD and perpetually for ever. If these sell for the tens of millions DH will receive 5% of every sale.

Few pieces listed , by bbperez1 on Aug 9, 2021 17:01:56 GMT 1, Hello forum,
I’ve listed a few bits on eBay - www.ebay.com/itm/274894556922
If you are interested please let me know and I would be more than happy to pass the savings on to the buyer. Clearing out some of the older bits from storage. I may have some more stuff in the future as I venture into my storage.
Thank you,
