Conor H has got a new book out..., by Young Squire on Feb 22, 2008 19:01:58 GMT 1, Some of these books are awesome, mine is mostly black and white.
As you can guess from the picture (on the lazinc site of all 100 books) it is one of the early numbers (in fact I think they mistakenly gave me the copy usually reserved for Mr Lazarides - someone may be in trouble!)

Josh Keyes New Sickness, by Young Squire on Jan 31, 2008 13:56:24 GMT 1, I didn't get my name on any of the lists until about a few months ago. But if you look around, including some of Josh's old show venues there are pieces to be found and deals to be made.
Some of his work is on loan and you can arrange to buy it on return. I found a thorough Google search and lots of speculative emails worked for me! I now have two original pieces in my colection, and my eye on a few more! ;D

Mr Yu, by Young Squire on Jan 28, 2008 19:23:41 GMT 1, Those are the 3D versions looking a little worse for wear.
I think this is the piece eddie is referring to:
See flickr for later versions with surrounding pieces.

Mr Yu, by Young Squire on Jan 28, 2008 18:46:59 GMT 1, Do you mean the figure bald bluish green man, if so the artist is Mr Yu I think.
There were some 3D versions of the same figure sitting on top of the street signs around Brick Lane also.
The bird to it's right is by discreet and there is a Dface stencil covering his dignity? There used to be a Banksy there as well but I think somebody has tried removing it!

Josh Keyes - drawings query, by Young Squire on Jan 17, 2008 11:00:28 GMT 1, I know there has been a lot of talk about Josh's prints and acrylic pieces recently but has anybody seen any of his original drawings in the flesh.
I am interested to know what the quality of his drawings are like and what people's opinions are on how they will stand the test of time (ie will they fade)?
DO people know how much these sell for (did when you could get them!)

UPDATE! Stop and Search - Still waiting, sub 100 ?, by Young Squire on Jan 14, 2008 16:21:10 GMT 1, sorry to here that Tommy, I would have a word with them and see what they can do. An AP/PP maybe ? have been speaking to them for the last 3 weeks. They say that their system cancelled the order because someone else in my office on the same IP also bought one. when i bought it it only said 1 per customer and not 1 per IP i even offered to send a copies of my passport so that they could verify that the other one purchased on the same ip was not me. But they are not interested. Dora said there is nothing she can do. Looks like i am going to have to pay out an extra ยฃ1k now to get this print because of their mistake.
I have much sympathy for you mate. I whole heartedly agree with POWs strict rule system designed to stop flippers, but was stripped of my signed colour trolleys print a few months back without being given a chance to explain the situation.
It's just a case of bad luck. I have a Trolleys print now, which I love, but it hurts a bit to know what I eventually had to fork out to get one!!!

RCA Secret - Anyone get what they wanted?, by Young Squire on Nov 30, 2007 16:24:53 GMT 1, Pezlow, I was just reading your posting on the yahoogroup board.
I have your favourite card and whilst I love it, I might be willing to swap it if you have anything equally nice to bring to the table. (hint one of those Hirsts would sweeten the deal!!! ;D ;D)
PM me if your interested.

SMALL BIRD TOLD BONGO, by Young Squire on Nov 13, 2007 19:43:28 GMT 1, I am a lawyer! and it didn't help my correspondence with Dora one bit!
In short, POW's posting is known as an invitation to treat and when we purchase a print from their site, what we are actually doing is making an offer for the print which they can then accept and will be subject to POWs conditions.
Online contracts or "click wrap" contracts are notoriously complex but POW know that even if there was a point to dispute they are bigger and richer then most or indeed any of us and it just wouldn't be worth litigating!

SMALL BIRD TOLD BONGO, by Young Squire on Nov 13, 2007 19:28:29 GMT 1, It is true, I have been emailing Dora for the past week, in fact I am fairly sure they have had enough of me complaining about it!
This is what they had to say:
It seems that the print you ordered from us was seen listed for sale on eBay and therefore the order was cancelled and refunded.
We work hard to make the releases of these big sellers as fair as possible, to ensure that genuine buyers/collectors get a chance and to prevent the immediate re-sale of the prints for profit ...
Kind regards
Dora

SMALL BIRD TOLD BONGO, by Young Squire on Nov 13, 2007 19:11:25 GMT 1, I can confirm POW are tracking Trolley prints and have experienced how inept their system for tracking print sales is first hand.
I purchased an unsigned B&W Trolleys print only to have my money refunded back to me a few days later. POW stated the reason for this was that my print had been seen on ebay.
POW did not try and contact me before refunding me my money. Had they done so they would have realised that I was not selling my print nor was there any way I was ever going to do so.
I applaud POW's efforts to stop the flippers, but am seriously chuffed of that some idiot flipper has quoted my print number on ebay and caused me to lose my print. I just hope another forum member was lucky enough to get it or it's probably on ebay already!

What happened to Eelus?, by Young Squire on Nov 9, 2007 18:12:40 GMT 1, Loved Shat-at and have the original Blue print on my wall and probably always will.
This new print is a bit dark for me and I am not sure about the way the girls leg seems to go between the back leg and ribs of the deer, doesn't quite look right.
Love the detail around the feet though, can't wait to see what else is coming.

Antony Micallef @ POW Online, by Young Squire on Sept 19, 2007 11:34:20 GMT 1, Got the same as everyone else, confirmation email from protx with blank details, but debit on my account. Hopefully it's a go!
Just emailed protx to query issue and auto-response says they will reply in 1 day, 9 hours and 48 mins! lol!!! ;D
Am so glad I got out of that Laz queue now and avoided the rain and ultimate disappointment of going home with probably just an Uzi lover for my time and ยฃ.

Lady Pink & Nick Walker Auction, by Young Squire on Jul 20, 2007 17:52:42 GMT 1, Not sure if this has been mentioned already, but is anybody heading over to Cargo this evening to check this out?
Thought I might stick in a cheeky blind bid for NW's piece if looks any good.

DOLK "Prisoner" Print, by Young Squire on Jan 8, 2008 11:16:24 GMT 1, I quite like it! To be fair if that had been released by Banksy and his name had been written on his chest it would have been sold out in seconds and on ebay for ยฃ2.5k now!!! If the quality of zooicide is anything to go by this will look great in the flesh. At least he is 'keeping it real' ยฃ90.00 for a fun print like that seems pretty honest to me!? Yep... pretty much the same as I feel about the zooicide print which is spreading out quite nicely on the dining room table right now. I love that brushed-over look on it, and Prisoner has the same effect going. What's that he's standing on though?
Is it not his shadow?

DOLK "Prisoner" Print, by Young Squire on Jan 8, 2008 11:12:00 GMT 1, Hmmm... is one of these comments going to be substantiated anytime soon or are they all going to be as off-hand as they've been up to now. I don't know enough about Dolk's older stuff to be able to judge where/when he's aped a Banksy but I'd be interested in seeing something that would point in that direction.
smacks a bit of it
