FS ADAM NEATE "COME ON" @ HALF PRICE, by Nico on Nov 26, 2009 8:50:59 GMT 1, No offence taken, but I'm being honest by showing a picture and I'm sure it can be fixed for not much by a conservation specialist. Also you can't really judge as it's a close up (and I mean CLOSE UP) so in scale, it's actually small). Thanks for your input!

FS ADAM NEATE "COME ON" @ HALF PRICE, by Nico on Nov 26, 2009 8:23:25 GMT 1, I'm selling my print from ADAM NEATE, "Come On". It was bought GBP1250.00 from Elms in 2007. Selling on Ebay at GBP800, but happy to let it go to a forum member for GBP600 for a quick sale.
It's a limited edition of 75, and I'm happy to meet in London for cash in hand.
See the ebay listing: cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250537449243 It has a mini crease on the top right edge, not on the image, i've shown it on the ebay listing in a close up shot to show how minimal it is.
PM me if interested.

Neate Street Piece, by Nico on Nov 19, 2009 18:29:39 GMT 1, I may be wrong...and I honestly feel for you and really it's shit. But this guy you bought it from had 0 feedback...that's not a risk I'd be ready to take.

Neate Street Piece, by Nico on Nov 18, 2009 23:43:39 GMT 1, Damn...I bid on this but didn't bid for long and now glad I didn't win it... Nasty I say. And to speak about this other guy who keeps going on about Bailey08...being Adam neate...I bloody hate him, scum! His copies aren't even good. This anyway is scary as quite good.

DFace • UnAmerican Graffiti, by Nico on Nov 4, 2009 23:15:49 GMT 1, I heard a lot of people not liking the "More Punk Than You Punk"...well I really like it, got the orange, and when it comes to Unamerican Graffiti, I would not put it on my wall...not finding anything good to say. Ok, the Queen is a return to old Dface stuff but hey...that works.

Banksy • Flower Thrower • Love is in the Air, by Nico on Nov 4, 2009 23:09:36 GMT 1, mmm...I feared it would happen... No really, calling you a tw@t is not needed! But then if you ever talk money here you usually get called a tw@t. I think i agree with hlarmy, don't buy unless you like a print! Investing in art is super risky, and only if you bought something you really like will you always be satisfied, whatever happens. Don't buy thinking you'll make shit loads as most likely you won't.

Copyright - Never Forever - 17th Sept, by Nico on Sept 18, 2009 9:39:58 GMT 1, You hear a lot that artists don’t improve, they just remix/recycle the same shit...well that cannot be said of Copyright. Last night’s show was a killer! His style has improved so much since last year. A lot more colours, a lot more attention to detail, and just lots of layers (paper, spray paint, acrylic,..). There’s a strong Japanese influence in his work now, and from other artists I thought but in Copyright’s true unique style. I was really impressed by the prices too. C is not taking the piss, the biggest piece was the size of a door, right at the entrance, one of my definite favourite and not exceeding GBP1900.00! (take off VAT and the gallery fee, he’s not making that much). The “Vault” was full of slightly older things but a few masterpieces were there too, unfortunately sold already. There were about 40 pieces, I recommend you head there asap, some real artistic skills to be seen! It helps that C is a top guy, really friendly and humble.

Copyright - Never Forever - 17th Sept, by Nico on Sept 17, 2009 16:47:06 GMT 1, Going there tonite, will be brilliant. My first ever buy was one of his decks, laser cut...awesome piece of art. I guess it's all down to this that I discovered the pleasure of hanging a great piece on my walls.

Banksy in London - Westway Highwayman, by Nico on Sept 1, 2009 21:05:53 GMT 1, Wow...so many pages trying to figure out if it's Banksy or not? Either way its a great piece and would make me laugh it it turned out to be some random guy! (brilliant random guy). Even if it's similar to Banksy's design, pulling off such a placement and soooo much discussion around it deserves a little respect. Who cares if it's Banksy, until it's on his website, no one knows shit, neither do i!

Your latest Art Purchase?, by Nico on Aug 19, 2009 16:12:47 GMT 1, I wanted somr pics for the downstairs toilet. The idea was that they had their eyes closed to not see what you are doing. The Queen pic is by Chris Levine, bought from stolenspace and framed by Mr Frameman. The Lyberty is from POW by Vaucher I'd love to know where you got this framed! Love it.

WTB:Banksy / Space Invader /LV Child, by Nico on Aug 19, 2009 16:08:24 GMT 1, I think you can be as concerned here in term of fakes...anyone can subscribe here (not implying people here can't be trusted!) What matters is to try and collect/meet the seller, so you can inspect before buying. Another thing is to get the name of the seller and print number to check with POW if that's the registered owner. Also, don't buy from people with very little feedback on Ebay, and only 100% positive. I'm stating the obvious but it's true you want to be careful.

Who holds copyright...?, by Nico on Aug 19, 2009 15:07:00 GMT 1, Sorry Shauny, got the wrong end of the stick there, i thought you were talking about making your own work and using that as an avatar without asking yourself first. Got confused...... apologies. The photo question is a very grey area, as in theory it is your photo, not the artists, even tho the subject is their art. It would be interesting to hear from an artist who uses photography as their medium....
I'm not sure that's really true either...a scan is a photo...so if I follow what you say, if I scan a print then because it's my photo it does not infringe copyright. Not really sure about that! If you sell or use a picture of an artwork, it's definitely wrong.
