I guess the answer to it is...if you do not agree with it, then do not be a member here and try to resolve it yourself with the gallery. I take it everyone that has the beef here have been screwed over? as last time i looked there sure seems way more people have suddenly become involved and probably have nothing to do with money being lost at these galleries. It is not really an excuse to cause anarchy as this forum has been like this for years. Speaking from first hand experience as well as my account has been banned more times than dave lee travis touched boobs. I am mot standing up for anyone as i myself have nothing to do with the issues here, but it sure is boring reading when you just want to read the daily art news to relax in the evening and have some banter. Its almost christmas ffs, just chill. Why dont you all just swap numbers and form a group to take action away from the internet rather than just talking about it. Even if dan did now say anything he would not be able to get his case across as the lynch mob would set in. Even though i dont agree with it, im not surprised he is staying quiet. Im not supporting anyone, it is just that technically it is his forum so he can do as he likes. We are just guests here. We do not own anything. Thats my bit done.

Sorry, I do sound condescending. This is a difficult subject. No one want to see mike out of business. He seems like a good guy and has put in a lot of effort into his business and supporting his artists and Ive spent money at brp and haven't got a bad word to say.. But people like James making money out of us all again after leaving people out of pocket doesn't seem right.

This is the type of pseudo intellectual response which when actually thought through means absolutely nothing...as you're saying unless you're willing to be omnipotent in you're knowledge of wrong doing in the world you should never make a stand. (Obviously taking you're argument to its logical conclusion).
All you needed to say is I'm happy to enjoy their gallery.

Dan, BRP have done nothing wrong. The frustration and opinions are around the tie-up between BRP (who are an established, well thought of gallery) linking up with PAG and specifically an individual who is widely regarded as having ripped off a large number of people, many of whom post on here.
People were expressing their views on this, only to find their posts deleted by one of the moderators, which understandably has caused frustration given the forum is supposed to be a platform to share opinions.
So what wrong has Black Rat Done? Dan, BRP have done nothing wrong.
