There are shitloads of new members on here who would never be aware of any of this if the older members didn't speak out, especially the ones who were ripped off. They should be allowed their say.
If their posts are deleted they should be given an explanation as to why.

I saw all the posts and had my own comments deleted and even though there was a comment that might have been inappropriate and perhaps needed to be retracted (IMO), I can't understand why any of it would need to be deleted?
Unless parties with a vested interest do have influence with the mods on the forum....?
Whichever way you slice it, it reflects badly on all those concerned - the moderator who deleted the posts and galleries.
It would have been best to have let the thread slip into obscurity on its own.
I really like Mike and BRP... but the modification and censorship of posts won't help his cause.

The deletion of posts imo has more to do with a certain moderators relationship with a certain gallery based on the art he has bought from said gallery.

Hate to say it folks but this is standard Banksy Forum censorship - this is why so many people have got angry and come and gone over the years.
It no secret that Silky makes a living from this forum (look at all the ads) which is why you have to take everything with a pinch of salt...sadly .info isnt what it used to be by a long shot but IMO alot of these problems would be solved if this was a closed private forum for members only (like many other forums out there)....but of course that would never happen because site traffic would be lower and therefore $$$ from revenues too...

Ironic really. I guess the answer to it is...if you do not agree with it, then do not be a member here and try to resolve it yourself with the gallery. I take it everyone that has the beef here have been screwed over? as last time i looked there sure seems way more people have suddenly become involved and probably have nothing to do with money being lost at these galleries.
It is not really an excuse to cause anarchy as this forum has been like this for years. Speaking from first hand experience as well as my account has been banned more times than dave lee travis touched boobs.
I am mot standing up for anyone as i myself have nothing to do with the issues here, but it sure is boring reading when you just want to read the daily art news to relax in the evening and have some banter.
Its almost christmas ffs, just chill. Why dont you all just swap numbers and form a group to take action away from the internet rather than just talking about it. Even if dan did now say anything he would not be able to get his case across as the lynch mob would set in.
Even though i dont agree with it, im not surprised he is staying quiet.
Im not supporting anyone, it is just that technically it is his forum so he can do as he likes. We are just guests here. We do not own anything.
