Could easily be faked with a rubber stamp too.
Doesn't require any distinctive movement like a signature.

Anyway the best artist - Banksy likes art, and is really the dude, as they made exhibition of Lush, and above all - I was one the first to make an exhibition with Evol, unknonwn then - I was one of his First buyer in His German gallery ! And we are still great friends on FCBK.. One of the best stree-artist/contemporary one ! He does not drawn little mickeys ahahh

A whistelblower that was involved with the scam alerted the Art Newspaper to the eBay auctions. There were anything from 25 to 100 fake Banksy prints sold. Revealed: the eBay Banksy print fraud In a statement Banksy, his dealer Steve Lazarides, and the directors of POW, confirmed that unauthorised prints “have been sold on eBay” and stressed that they along with members of the public “have been victims of criminal behaviour”. POW never took PayPal as payment so will be on a bank statement also it would have been Sage Pay maybe searching for that will help.

Absolutely no one comes close or probably ever will. It’s now too much about making as much money as possible rather than focusing on quality releases and breaking new artists from across the world. As customers they really educated us.
The scene has changed too much now. It does surprise me the lack of original ideas and creativity plus how lazy the scene is getting. Everything also has to sell out in one second otherwise not deemed a success.
POW never promoted themselves as a business who would deliver high customer service expectations (part of their charm), but they were bloody good at it.

It was a movement of its time, very exciting to be a part of.
Now it’s all just Contemporary Art I suppose and the new galleries and print houses reflect this.
