It is a cracking print and still one of the best releases of the year. And I still think it is tons better than all the Laz Micallef prints.

WHY IS EVERYONE SELLING/OFFERING THEIR GIWTBB?, by RBK on Oct 31, 2007 0:48:27 GMT 1, had to sell mine to not go bankrupt buying a shibuya crossing. that said, if money were not so tight i would have love to have kept it. for a single colour screen print it has a real touch of class, smell georgeous too! mmmmmmmmmm. ;D plus i wanted to keep hold of my peacekeeper too
rudeboyrupert - at the rate they are going you might be able to still pick up a screaming deal in the next month when your funds have stabilized.

One just sold for 486 on Ebay - first one under 500! How low can they go?
It actually makes me feel good seeing the 'value' go down (even though I have one) so more people can get them at reasonable prices close to cost.

WHY IS EVERYONE SELLING/OFFERING THEIR GIWTBB?, by johnas on Oct 31, 2007 0:56:31 GMT 1, i loved the print but sold mine coz of the portrait size... just got nowhere to hang something that big.
sold mine for £500 and used the profit to get this commission piece done by Jef.
yes, it's JJ Burnel and yes, he was an idol of mine when growing up. This is much more personal to me and i'm glad i sold my GIWTBB.

WHY IS EVERYONE SELLING/OFFERING THEIR GIWTBB?, by darjeeling on Oct 31, 2007 5:18:37 GMT 1, I'm not.
That print run was HUGE. I think it's worth about it's retail price honestly up to about 400. Look at Flags, been out for a year and still there's always several on ebay ever since its release. Likewise giwtbb will always be flipped and sold. No need to pay a lot for it.

WHY IS EVERYONE SELLING/OFFERING THEIR GIWTBB?, by jonpud on Oct 31, 2007 9:34:58 GMT 1, It can't be the image itself putting people off when they receive it, think it's just the size of the piece, and once framed it's huge. Buyers get them home and then realize just how much wall space they need to hang them!!!!!
JD was no different, you could pick up copies for ages at 450 - 600, but now you are looking at £1750!!! I don't think the GIWTBB will command quite as much but you never know!!!
Good time to buy, we have all been there wishing we had bought a couple of months (even weeks) ago!!

WHY IS EVERYONE SELLING/OFFERING THEIR GIWTBB?, by craigf on Oct 31, 2007 18:54:04 GMT 1, I do hope Trollies goes the same way as I want a colour one
Also the other Micallef Laz prints are finding it hard to make even their original price so I might get the improvised minotaur I wanted after all.
It seem Mr Neate is not immune either as a 2 am blog went yesterday for less than £1,300 and the inflated priced BIN ones are just not shifting on the bay

i'm not surprised about the laz prints....i think selling prints at £1100 is really stretching it...in addition to the fact that personally i thought all 4 of them were awful images.

I think yes, but to a lesser extent. I think the Trollies image is much more sought after then God I wish. I also have a feeling in 2 years from now both prints will raise in value very well, so get them while they are cheap. IMHO I think this is his second best image in done in charcoal and maybe even as good as Judgment Day.
