You see, you know what auction houses do. Take pictures of artworks with ugly, slender women in front of them, because they think this will entice people to buy a piece. They think itโs marketing, my view itโs market manipulation. Seen this way, you could say that it is the auction houses that talk down the real works of art. My guess is that no member of this place ever looked at this that way. That is probably why Iโve started to loath them. Intellectuality is far from being the case ๐คทโโ๏ธ

Nothing to apologise for Daniel. Interesting question you ask. The thing is, I wouldnโt care what people would ask or what caught their eye more. To me art is about what I like to look at, not what others like to see. And I prefer the Rothko. You see, you know what auction houses do.
