An absolute steal today on ebay..., by kunstrasen on May 19, 2013 16:54:35 GMT 1, ...is this Guy Denning canvas. Yes, it is mine and yes it is very painful to see it at such a low price just a few hours before the auction ends. Maybe someone on here is after an original Guy Denning and has not noticed the auction yet so I hope no one minds me posting this again. Anyhow, seems like it's going to be the steal of the year on ebay...your chance to grab a bargain.

I expect some bids at the end but they'll be based on what the current bidding stands at so I assume someone will be very lucky this evening...I'd be more than happy though if I'm wrong and the canvas goes for something closer to what it is worth.

I'm personally not aware of that many canvases available at the moment. There are two 40 x 40 cm canvases available at Red Propeller for ยฃ1750/ยฃ2000...this one is bigger though with 60 x 60 cm and comes already framed.

Worst thing is that it feels a bit like I insulted Mr. Denning personally with this auction result. Such a talented artist, great skills, fantastic person as well. It has been a bit quiet around him lately, guess it shows a bit where art goes without a hype. Quality of his work has been outstanding lately, have to admit that this was not his strongest piece he ever made but this price really seems a bit like a bad joke.
