Not so sure. Name an Invader release that has been hard to get? Pretty much all them have been routine drops or have been available in the relevant gallery. Don't get me wrong, I'm a massive fan of his, but this forum just doesn't represent reality when it comes to his sales. Until recently you could pick up his prints at cost price which had often been available for months

The way in which this drop was organised spreading it out, has totally discouraged flippers (selling as sold out all day on ebay and still available now at 1.30 in the morning on space shop) meaning more go to the fans and people who really want them and more dollar goes to invader, I know who I'd rather give the money to

Fan of Invader but not an empty bank. Art funds depleted on glow-in-the-dark tiles in a plastic sleeve... hangover really starting to kick in now.

It is just sad that for about $50 I could create this and have more enjoyment out of it by putting it on my wall rather than buying one for $1000 and putting it in a drawer and being scared to do anything with it. You break the seal on this one and you have more money than sense. $950 for a signature and wrapper... Kudos to Space Invader. On a side note, if anyone in LA wants to go in with me and buy some glow tiles, it takes just over 1 sheet of tiles so we could split one package... see here rebeltiles.com/glowtiles.html. Each sheet is $15 You can also come to my place, do a picture of all my canvas and then print them with a high def printer. That would cost you about 10$ each and you could have a nice DalEast, Banksy, JR or Martin Whatson "kind of" OG on your wall. Wake up man ! Most of the prints/OG that we have cost a few bucks to produce... if you wanna save money, don't collect art ! I'm wondering if I'm on the Disneyland forum sometime...

From what I can see we all had the chance to buy one. I think that made it harder for me, and i did spend ages staring at the price and that little round button, but managed to apply what little self-control i do have haha
shame tho, as it's fairly large, and would have looked great framed up in my office
