Why I wouldn't buy from Jerome couturier if I where you, by Limited Prints on Sept 4, 2013 0:21:01 GMT 1, So this all started close to three months ago. I bought an Orange Eternal Reflection From Jerome.
This is what I got. He claims no responsibility for the damage and when I told him I would post this on the forum he told me he didn't care because he had other sources for his art. If not for paypal I would be out.

Great question...i wondered that my self. The tube was very thin and this must of been his attempt to stregthen. I have never received a tube like this or anything even close from anybody else

Actually, when I bought a print from Sergeant Paper (in Paris), it was shipped in exactly the same way, a tube with a box in the middle. In fact the tube and the box, I believe, were designed specifically to go together. In my case, it protected the tube sufficiently. I guess the middle part of the tube would normally be the weakest part so it does help.
Sorry to see this print damaged so badly though.

Looks like the postal service have crushed the tube...Did you pay for insured and tracked delivery?

Looks like the postal service have crushed the tube...Did you pay for insured and tracked delivery? |

Did you protest to Post Office ? Have the Insurance triggered ?

im taking some time to answer to you in front of everyone for the last time
i think it is really a shame that this print is so badly damage but I think that if you had refused the delivery or if you had noted on the delivery paper that it was damaged (which you didn't)there wouldn't be any problem between us (I had taken an insurance for the shipping from the post office )
the fact that you noticed me about the damage only some days after the date of the delivery makes me wonder.....
we contacted postal services but they told me after examination of the claim with US postal services that nothing could be done because you didn't noticed the damage at the moment of the delivery
you put a claim to US postal services only nearly one month llater paypal asked you to resend the print to me which you said you did on the 9th July
paypal closed the case on the 18th July because nothing arrived (or was really sent?)
then on the 18th August you contacted me asking if we had news about our ccase then you reopened the case from PayPal (when you came back from holidays?)
and you said the print was in post office for one month 
Paypal told me you sent the print on the 20 August !!! And that you where absolutely out of delay
PayPal France head master told us that the case was closed in my favor after examination by an expert, after all the mistakes made by the buyer and PayPal in that case
they said they will contact USPS and the buyer directly to see what could be done
if that print ever arrive to my door I will refuse it because for me it is sold and closed
I have never bought anything from here I've just exchange Christmas gift with others members
i am a collectioner for several years lets see how long you keep all the prints you are buying from here !!
i hope you'll get refund one day but this is none of my matters now, I'm waiting for your excuses George bliss or I will report you for threatening me by email and here

Im sorry cedric I completely disagree. any body who thinks that tube is strong enough is not right. look at the picture of the inside of the tube. no structural integrity at all. Why have I never received anything even similar to this in dozens and dozens of purchases of other high end pieces. NOthing at all similar.

I have seen worse deals around, even if the print is damaged (imay be it could be ironed down to restore it to a better condition ?). The print doesn't look as damaged as to the point of not being frameable. Do you have other side pics ?

That tube looks fairly average, and perfectly good, to me but looks like it's been stepped on! No one's fault, except the stepper!
