Not for the purpose of upping his prices though. The stall has been the most widely covered/broadcast piece of the whole show so far due to the money that was made/not made.Not the art. It's obvious to me that Banksy cares deeply about lots of things and that's why I love his art. It would seem the more money Banksy products are worth, the more he struggles with it. If you weren't a Banksy fan and were to look at all the pieces in the show so far, I'm not sure you would say it's the work of a happy man. Ignorance is bliss.
Everything about the show says he is happy just being back on the street playing games and making comments on things he thinks are important and the just having a laugh making silly jokes.....you only have to look at the fist piece, the musical, grim Reaper, the asshole, truck , the ants to see a chap who is not taking himself or this whole thing to seriously but when he wants to say something you have Dumbo, 9/11 tribute, Crazy Horse........all condensed into one month he has worked his arse which suggests he is right on his game

It's a tin of Heinz Baked Beans 89p at Waitrose........the first real clue to Bansky's identity and his shopping habits........the Banksy hunters can scan all shoppers entering into Waitrose super markets. He will be easy to spot he is wearing jeans, t shirt and has a balaclava in his pocket...unusual for early September!!!!
