its bullshit and i despise it!! i understand flipping and that sometimes people do what they have to do to make ends meet but to attempt to publicly manipulate the market after only a few being sold...at DOUBLE the highest price paid is absurd. I'll get one someday but considering i just spent $2.5K on an ORIGINAL CANVAS, theres no way i'd be able to swallow paying even a third of that for a print...no matter how much i love it or want it.
Also, help me score an Adrenaline please and i'll cook for you for free and massage your entire immediate family/friends.

i get that, but it also allows for fans and newcomers to be able to put something on the wall...or what works better are timed releases where it goes on sale for 12-24 hours and the amount bought is the print edition...someimes this creates a lot of prints, audrey kawasaki and josh keyes usually sell around 2000 prints, but the aftermarket is still strong and prints increase in value....DAL is new and his fan base is growing....those of us who are fanatic are dissappointed bc flippers are in on the game and take from true fans who are not looking to sell...i am all for reselling but it sucks when the artist becomes HOT and profitable.

I have yet to score...and its sad we have to say score..a Ak or JK unless its timed. Prob.. will never be able to score a DAL...boo hoo me, but not paying secondary prices. I can always print out the image on my own printer and frame it if I like it that bad....in a few days, the hype will be over and then we can move on the next frustrating drop...nevertheless, it seems like its the same people who always seem to 'score' good for them...bad for thse who were there frm the beginning

This can be true for some, but others actually like art and it makes their life more creative and fullfilling...for me, my fav. pieces in my collection are not worth more than a 100 and waited 2-3 years before the came up on the market, on ebay actually, and when they came up on here, the buyers wanted a premium...

and I can complain all i want...at least we are talking about all this, the worst review is no review

Agree with you on the Mic point to a degree Denada, he fucked his market releasing 1000 prints but just goes to show that the market isn't as deep as people think.

Perhaps there isn't demand for 300odd Dal prints at £400 a pop?

High noon onwards I guess, it's in the afternoon. When we sit and think about how much time we all spunk in queues on motorways perhaps it's not such a waste of time to pitch up in London.
