I see your points but I donยดt think you need to realize the popularity first when you are going to have a Retna release. Itยดs obvious that the demand will be extremely high. And actually I didnยดt expect anything else than the way this release happened. Of course they could have done a larger edition or set the price higher to cut demand but I have seen other print releases in the past that were gone one second after release (at least I had that impression for example at the recent Faith47 release at SAN) - thatยดs life

They were'nt offering me anything and told me no presales, even though I didn't ask and was prepared to be on my marks at the alotted time. I didn't realise until late that they weren't going to be on sale as stated, by that time probably far too late to get in email line.
I had previously emailed them and said I was interested as soon as 13Press posted the photo of the actaul screen frame on Instagram and before any info was out there. Don't know what else I could have done, bit gutted really but saved some money.

Sent in my email right when i saw the info on the buy page and got a response a bit later. Sent me the total and payment info, shipping was $50 which i paid but I asked if i could pick up the print as i am not far from downtown. I asked for the gold and was given my choice! super stoked to have it in hand. Wanted to take it straight to the framers but he was a little busy and I have to hit the farmers market so it will be with the devil by tonight. I know i am extremely lucky to have this print! Looks like they did the best they could with such a demand, guess it came down to luck this time around. some photos, first one is with flash, the others are not.
